  • Hello everybody,

I would like to join as well - payment a week seems much more manageable for me than payment a day as at the moment money is very tight.

Already done my signature - hopefully it works and paying extra £5 to my CC today :j

Thank you for this thread - it will keep me motivated
Good luck everybody to pay off as much as we can of our debts this year.

Just noticed - have to update my signature for my other challenge to include £5 - great :T

I think it is to do with the fact that you can only have 6 full lines in your sig, if you have smilies or large text or space between lines then it counts as too many.

Try missing out the spaces between the lines and if that fails try getting rid of the smilies which make the line drop down a bit.

If all else fails delete the lot and start again :rotfl:

    Hope this helps scotmum

  • I make payments on different days every week. I see how much I have in my bank and if i have odd £5' extra in there I tend to pay using that. However I also have a weekly payment arrangement with Provident - I tend to do that whatever day I feel like too.

Think I'm going to start paying everything on a Friday, as I don't do anything on Fridays so can be home and make my payments!
    SAVINGS: £63.86 // £3,000

Well done! Im new to this forum but i hope you dont mind me saying that if its doable everyweek then do it. think of this forum everytime you spend off budget and how good you feel right now compared to how down you'd feel if you didnt.
i have no idea of your income but dont set yourself a target thats too high each week incase you cant manage it and then give up.
i can see this process very much like when people try to diet. if people diet they tend to slip up then feel down so eat some more as "tomorrows another day". I had this happen to me. then i lost 5 1/2stone 4 years ago( - and kept it off :-) ) by looking as it as a change of lifestyle for life, not a tempary fix. Im comparing the two as i can imagine people spending too much/missing payments then thinking balls to it ill start again next week etc.
if we could all get in the mind set that this is a change of lifestyle(spending) i believe we are stronger people more likely to succed long term and achieving our goals and moving farward from it.
good luck with your journey :-)

Sorry my reply is long, im on my phone and i didnt intend to waffle on xx
