I've been reading MSE for a long long time but this is the first time a thread has encouraged me to register to post! Thanks for starting it. I'll post my debt in my sig when I can work out how to do it..(and after taking several deep breaths!)

Seems like a silly question, but how are you paying the small extra payment? eg when you say it's just the change on your bedside table, do you actually take that money to the bank and pay it in? And then transfer that sum to a credit card debt or whatever it is? Confused and want to join in.... :-)
  • Hi,

Can I join? I think this challenge may be a bit easier for me to achieve lol.

    Great thread!:D

  • I'm a habitual lurker but this has inspired me! Thanks guys.

Am starting doing my little bit every day - each time I don't use the bus to work (up a major hill) the fare goes to pay off my credit card.

4 days back at work. So far, 3 x 85p paid - ridiculously small victory high five!

(the rogue day was so super windy that I feared for the world seeing my underwear in the breeze, so decided to invest in my dignity!)

Hello and welcome, for me I round down my bank account and pay direct of the cc and with loose change, I save it up to take down the bank.

Hope that helps  lots of people do it differently, whatever suits you really but I have to pay off quickly or it gets borrowed and never returned by the family
