The 'extra payment every week' challenge

Can I join Please - I know its a bit late! My Dad has just given me a cheque for some crimbo pressies I bought for him so was going to pay that off the credit card insted of putting it in my account!! Then thought if I can pay at least a fiver a week off something then I will be in a much better position this time next year!!

I am not doing so well this week only £1.25 off but hey ho better off than on

ANYTHING helps. I started by paying off a £1 here and there extra on my repayments. Then I managed to get a part time job so I can pay off more. (I also sold stuff on eBay that I did not want anymore)

I just made an extra payment of £64.91 for this week, which has mean I've closed down one of my credit cards (having transferred the rest of the balance to a 0% card). Wahey!

please don't apologise for the amount you are paying, it's all money and any amount is better going towards your debt and working towards your debt free future. I dont think this thread will give 'bad' weeks, the fact that we're doing one payment a week will make everyone a good week. Wow where did the david icke in me come from :cool:
