I dont think this thread will give 'bad' weeks, the fact that we're doing one payment a week will make everyone a good week. Wow where did the david icke in me come from
Well said! Every penny counts, but the value should absolutely be your own, achievable goal!

I have been selling things on eBay yesterday and made around £13. Once this has cleared in to my bank account - as it's with PayPal currently - I will pay off my eBay fee's (about £3.42) and then proceed to pay the rest off on my Little woods debt.SAVINGS: £63.86 // £3,0000

Hi All,
A bit late but I'd like to join in please.
I am determined to attack these debts this year and any little bit extra will help. I can manage to get to the bank once a week so will just transfer the contents of my desk change pot every Friday or anything I make on eBay.
I've made £27.50 on Ebay this month so will transfer that from Paypal later.
Today I've banked a cheque for £18 which was an insurance overpayment refund so that will go towards the debts too.
Off to add it to my sig now.

I just made my first extra payment. Feels like a drop in the ocean with a debt I'm not proud of, but I know it will snowball as the weeks go by.
Happy new year everyone!0 -

I pay some of my debts by dd and if I make an extra payment the dd is either reduced or not taken so should I save the extra payment in a holding account and pay just before the dd is taken or try and just make over payments anyway.0

It depends on what works best for you nifty. Obviously money in a savings account will earn interest, but this has to be offset against how much interest you are paying on your debts, and also how tempting it might be to take some out here and there for things other than debts? Who are your debts payable to that you cant make extra payments to? Can you make payments to the ones who arent set up in this way? Or call the creditors in advance to ask them to take a larger direct debit amount when you know how much extra you can afford?Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
