Hello All
Well I have a gain of +4 there is no getting away from it, even weighing with 1 leg in the air makes no difference. Thats what the kids being on holiday and lovely food down at the coast does.
So back to the beginning I go:mad:
Well back to work on monday so will try to get back on track

I think you have to weigh with two legs in the air for it make a difference sirens :rotfl:
So far today
B: granola, ss milk
L: ham salad bapplanning chicken and veg curry with a little bit of rice and half a tescos light naan bread
and then...the diet may be forgotten
we are going to a party...with drink and food
Unfortunately, it's a bit away, and I have been volunteered as driver for the night. Normally I could pretend a bit of dancing would negate the food, but I'm so sore today that I doubt that will happen. I couldn't walk to the shops this morning, I had to drive
And then I'll be away and offline for 3 days, I plan to eat well, but I know from experience I'll probably have more than normal.
And I'm hungry right now...off to look for a snack!
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
Afternoon. Well, it's still +1lb today so I'm going to have to take it on the chin:(
Very disappointed in myself although I know I've been careful and walked twice every day as well as doing my exercise DVD. Hopefully it will go again soon.
When I started dieting I started walking too and it was only 10 minutes to start with. Now I do 45 minutes or so in the morning (depends how many dogs I meet) and about 35 in the afternoon. The only time I don't go out is if there is ice or snow on the ground because I'm scared of falling over. If it's absolutely lashing down with rain I still go out in the morning but may miss the afternoon - can't always get my coat dry again that quickly.
So why is it so hard to lose weight and keep it off? Maybe it just is because I've been doing it so long.0 -
Well, despite yet another bad weekend last week (and having a chippy tea on Wednesday:o), I'm pleased to report a loss of another 1lb this week, which takes me to my goal for this challenge, and makes a loss of 21lbs in total so far!
I bought myself a heart rate monitor last week, using some of my birthday money, and was a bit disappointed to find that I've not been burning as many calories as I thought I had while exercising, especially when using my exercise bike! However yesterday while wearing the monitor, I cleaned the window and door in the kitchen, inside and out, cleaned and tidied one of the kitchen cupboards, did a bit of washing and a few other bits around the house, and burnt a total of 1109 calories in just under 5 hours.Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

If I could have I would have, tried naked (with the blinds down of course) heck would have done it with the blinds up if it would have helped but might have scarred the postman for life:rotfl::rotfl:'You have brains in your head. If anyone tells you that doing lots of painting, climbing up and down ladders etc. will help with weight loss - don't believe them! It just makes you eat on the go and pick up any bit of cake that just happens to be lying around in the cake tin
So ....... I have gained the 1lb that I lost last week, and it just serves me right for thinking I could cheat and get away with it
Anyhow, the decorating is almost done now, and I can concentrate on other things like knitting or crochet
Good to have you back daisiegg - sorry you got the screaming hab-dabs, and hope the jet lag sorts itself out soon
Well done all the STSers and losers, and keep the faith the rest of us

Cotton mainly to make a quillow, and some poly cotton to make iPad cushion also got some PVC table covering but got my measurements wrong for my table 4inchs too short boo :-(. I have actually just ordered a beginners crochet kit from this lovely lady that just started this cute kids one that has little teddy and instructions and yarn to make little hat, scarf and blanket for it that I've got for my niece. http://www.facebook.com/uniquepatchwork here are the pics of fabric and kit, if link works? Do you do yours as a hobby or to sell?
Would love to decorate but we rent and they are a little funny about it, looking at wallpapering my side unit that got free recently to give some life :-)0 -
