Morning all.
I had a brief step on the scales this morning and they're showing another 2 and a bit pounds gone since yesterday. My weight tends to fluctuate a lot from day to day (which is why I tend to weight myself daily rather than weekly), but I've got my fingers crossed that's still the case next Friday!
Today goes:
Brunch - three slices of granary bread with the last of the butter poured over (it was more than a little soft in this heat!) and half a dozen slices of smoked salmon; large bowl of cherries
Snack - iced coffee made with SS milk and, if I need it, a small portion of flapjack
Dinner - BBQ time - beefburger(s) (one or two, depending how hungry I am), BBQ'd asparagus, mixed bean salad, and a couple of glasses of wine.Deleted_User wrote: »My first "album" ever bought was in Woolworths and it was a 2 sided cassette of Ace of Base's Happy Nation.
Oh gawd, Ace of Base! My sister used to love them - I must have heard All That She Wants several hundred times before she got tired of it. (She's the same age as you, to within a few months; I'm three years older. Just in case anyone's interested!)Back after a very long break!0 -

Is this your official weigh in missymoo81? Could you put it into red writing in future pls? :A Just makes it easier to see
sparrer - happy birthday for Thursday from a fellow cusp baby
CCP - I think I still have the cassette of Ace of Base too...not sure though. I deffo have it on my iTunes as a download tho...lol.
Today off to see CATSNot till this evening tho, so trying to be good as I KNOW I will be tempted by the crisps and sweeties at the theatre...!!
b - 2 slices wm toast with cheese
s - fruit pot if hungry later
l - hm beef stirfry potion
d - none, but I have no idea what I'll be snacking on later at the theatre....no alcohol though as I'm driving!
be good all0 -
Hi everyone. Reporting in with an STS this week. I think its best to gloss over food for last week because it wasn't good. trying to do better this week.0

Ooh sorry, theatregirl, yes my official weigh in. Apologies for not putting it in red.
Well have had an awful day for food. Have just had fish and chips too, need to be good for the next 5 days to make sure I lose atleast another pound by next Friday. Ideally I'd like to lose 2lb but we'll see.0 -
Evening everyone
sparrer...were you like our family...when we first got a phone in the 70s it was a shared line...if you picked it up and someone was talking, you knew the neighbours were using it? I suppose the system worked because nobody made many calls in those days.
TG...my first album was Tiger Feet by Mud ( and played on a polished wood gramophone player about the size of a large cupboard)...It went "that's neat, that's neat, I really like your tiger feet"...I have NO idea what it was about :rotfl:
JackieO...the Rolling Stones, that's impressive, what a good memory to have
Sirens...there's a special dispensation for birthday cake, you're allowed!
Food has been very haphazard today
B: granola, ss milk...at 6 am:eek:
L: cheese and pickle sandwiches (left a little bit)
S: digestive biscuit at a friends...it seemed rude to not have anything when I saw the big plate of biscuits she'd put outwm toast (made 2 slices, ate 1)
S: lf yoghurt with 1 slice pineapple
Also a handful of jelly babies in the car, pointless really...is it just me or are they not as tasty as they used to be?
Exercise: 3 hours non-stop housework, with no sitting down!
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -

I'm dont want to repeat what I snacked on last night while out at the theatre....2 glasses diet coke, no alcohol [until I got home and then it was just a few cheeky sips of rose when I did], but otherwise there were crisps, a few chewy sweets, rhubarb & custard hard boiled sweets, and the most gorgeous piece of chocolate cake......
Show was amazing, my favourite musical EVER! So all happy and yay this morning and singing away to various excerpts in my head :rotfl:
food been a bit better today (I think.......)
b - special k cereal with ss milk
s - fruit pot
l - 2 rashers bacon (fat drained off) in 2 sm slices bread, little primula cheese spread + salad.
d - hm portion of quorn chicken with rice + sweetcorn.
must get cooking this week as I have nearly used all my portions in the freezer!
[having a few issues with adding up numbers in the spreadsheet today so will post updated wi's when I can figure it out!!! When is KW back, anyone?!]0 -
Today isn't shaping up to be a good day:
B - two slices of bread with ginger curd
S - various bite-sized trials of things while walking round a food festival; iced coffee (something I'm slightly obsessed with at the moment)
L - cheese, tomato and salad cream sandwich; portion of cherries
D - crab pasty with mixed salad
On the plus side, I did walk down to the food festival (a mile and a bit), and will be planting out some of the herbs I bought there when the weather cools down a bit, so I've burnt off some of what I ate.Back after a very long break!0 -
