    Breakfast - nectarine
L - none as being picked up at 1.30pm and taken out to eat. Don't know what or where so will report back later
    D - as above
    S - fresh fruit
E - 20 mins on the front garden was more than enough. Might try a 10 min session before I go out

Plumegranate sounds sooo yummy, will look out for them (no Waitrose nearby) because they're two of my fav fruits :D

Back later after my [STRIKE]date[/STRIKE] outing :o

So TG that's a 2.5lb gain for me. Ahh well, new start to a week for me and I'm still convinced water retention has something to do with it, although look as I might I can see no evidence of puffiness today. :p

TG - 360g of chilled chocolate. Don't do it! I whopped down copious chocolates from my gifted box and look at the outcome for me. :(:o And they were slightly warm straight from the postmans bag. What are these people doing to us, generously giving us a time bomb in a chocolate coating. :p

Cheerfulness - you know you could weigh in tomorrow if you want, unless you're okay with weighing in a day ahead of everyone else? :)

As for the chocolate...too late....to be fair I did give about a 1/5th of the bar to a good friend at work - she was on the post show bar. I have consumed 3/5ths in two sittings :o:o:o
The rest is the fridge and I will save it for tomorrow after weigh in :rotfl:

    mealplan for today
no breakfast, had yummy lie-in instead
brunch - bagel with cream cheese and 2 rashers bacon (fat drained off), plus a fair bit of chocolate...
no lunch today either, will just have fruit or a snack of some sort if hungry.
dinner - pasta with salad and a little quorn mince.
snack - have a bottle of koppaberg cider for tonight, which I am going to spend in the garden relaxing :D

I have probably wrecked the work I have done to the lbs this week but hopefully I have lost a inch from somewhere on my body :rotfl: :A

On a positive note- my spring onions, peppers, chillis, beetroot leaves, broad beans and salad leaves are all abundant now in garden so I've plenty of healthy stuff to eat.

Does anyone that grows on here have a particular type of lettuce that they would recommend? Mine are all mixed leaves at present and the snails had my Webs Wonderful. :(

    Hi Cheerfulness

Ive grown loads of different lettuce over the years and believe me slugs and snails like them all :rotfl:
Best tip i an offer is to try and grow them in pots with rough side and put crushed up eggs shells on the soil between the lettuce as snails/slugs dont like the rough texture

    Today:

B: museli with s/s milk and a banana
S: 1 seeded bread toast with butter
L: cheese salad sandwich, carrot sticks, 2 x satsumas
S: Red grapes, greek muller corner (oh my i LOVE these too much!)
T: Not sure as going round my parents house

Went out to eat with my work friends last night and had enchiladas (sp?) with wedges but resisted a pudding which was great until i got home and ate a caramel bar :o Im not sure why i keep doing this to myself

Anyone have any spare motivation they can send my way? Please :D Pretty please :D (the grin of a desperate person!)

TG - I think I'll stick with my Thurs WI day as its when I weigh in with SW online. ;)

I'm highly impressed that you gave away some of your chocolate. I find it very difficult, neigh on impossible, to part with my chocolatey goodies.

Savesum - DH just made me a little raised bed to which I planted up with rocket and salad leaves. It was from left over wood and was pretty rough.
Interestingly its totally devoid of slugs and snails. I guessed they didn't like the texture. :D
I've tried allsorts to beat the beasties, including waste ground coffee, sand, egg shells, copper. My little masochistic molluscs will trudge through it all. :(

Is there a lettuce that you've grown over the years that you've thought better for taste or texture? I love crunch in salads and am looking to make them more interesting.
I've grown basil, coriander, parsley, peppers and chillis to add flavour to them.
Also a couple of thymes and rosemary for my hot dishes.
Wondering about adding dill and fennel next year.

Hi all. Not going to bother to write what I have had for the last 3 days. The only good thing is I have done plenty of exercise, long walks etc. Not for one minute do I think that I've done enough to work off what has gone in but I made a bit of an effort.:o
Will WI tomorrow with trepidation and resignation.
Incidently ankles and feet still puffy.......getting my excuses ready!!
    Good Luck all

I'm not looking forward to weigh in tomorrow either. Last weekend in one day I put on 3 lbs and didn't even have any treats! That's what I'm like. So far I've lost 2 of them again and I'm hoping against hope that the other one will be gone by tomorrow so I can sts, but I'm not hopeful. I haven't had anything that bad but that doesn't always seem to matter. Ah well, onwards and upwards (but downwards I hope). We'll see what tomorrow brings.

I suspect I am also going to have gained tomorrow.....ARGH!!! Today's efforts were sabotaged as I was asked to make a birthday cake for our head of department. Fine, but we all know that means licking the bowl and when there was loads of icing left....well.... ..... .....:o:o:o:o:o

Can't remember if I posted yesterday's food so:

    B - porridge
    S - apple
    L - tuna salad
S - 2(!) jam tarts (they were brought to a meeting and it is so rare there are snacks at meetings that I can actually eat, that everyone made me have the 'spare' one after everyone had had one, because I can't usually eat at meetings :()
    D - vegetable stir fry
    S - half a can of pineapple

    And today:

B - bran flakes with sultanas
L - a strawberry, pineapple and mango smoothie. Topped up with water, not soya milk or yogurt this time
S - licking bowls and spoons while making cake!)
D - (will be) grilled chicken breast, rice mixed with peas, sweetcorn and onion

No more snacks and no booze!!!

cheerfulness...when you find the diet that lets you eat like a gannet and lose weight, make sure you let me know IMMEDIATELY :rotfl:

theatregirl...I laughed when you said it was too late to save the chocolate, it's exactly what I thought you would say :rotfl:

sparrer...hope you had a lovely day out.

I'm posting my food now so that I won't have anything extra later,

B: granola (thank goodness the packet is finished, it was very bland, I'm going back to the scrummy kind tomorrow)
L: one slice wm toasted with cheese and tomato
    S: apple
D: ham salad...I convince myself salad is really slimming, but probably not, as well as ham and the good bits, I had cheese, pineapple and egg...it all adds to the calories.

    Gallons of tea :)

no exercise, much too hot...and curtains all washed :) Lots of paperwork, which uses NO calories!

And must just point out...NO chocolate this week...in fact, no nice snacks of any kind, mainly because I have nothing in the house, and it's too hot to bother shopping when I don't need to. So even if my fave choc is still reduced when I shop tomorrow, I will leave it on the shelf, I promise.
