  • Well shift one of Dora in Wombleland with the Tennis going on is over lol. Another three shifts tomorrow, back to back.

    Todays munchies
    b - 2 slices toast with cheese
l - tuna crunch bloomer (from Gr*ggs), pack of crisps, bottle of Oasis
s - handful of chocolate buttons at work :o
d - sausage roll, 1 large slice bloomer loaf with spread, chicken breast
    s - a few squares of THAT chocolate...... ;)

exercise - sweating like a pig that oinks. Not because of my weight at all, not like some really....well built people do...but more because the management have gone ahead with a really clever idea </sarcasm> and changed our uniform, so now all everyone (male and female alike) have to wear white long-sleeved shirts with waistcoats and ties. The waistcoats arent the problem, more than used to them, but the ties are really uncomfortable and because its a old theatre theres not really anything in the way of A/C...so I was melting by the time I got out of there.

Tried mentioning it to management but all I got was a "we have to wear full business suits....we're much warmer than you!"

Thanks for all the kind thoughts everyone :) It's a waiting game to see what happens in the next few weeks...

Had a strange day at work today. Not many visitors, but the ones we did have were very different to the usual ones. People from all parts of the country and they all seemed to have a good day with us and had nice things to say etc.

My boss left a note to put the calendars out for next year, and to think about how to put the Christmas cards out when they come in in the next couple of weeks or so  How many weeks????????
I haven't had my Summer Holiday yet :D

Mrs KW - I'll try to get up earlier tomorrow and get on the Wii before I go to work.

I know the new challenge starts tomorrow but I will put the end of challenge results up Monday morning - so you all have another day or so to get your results in.

Another 1lb off this week! I'm going to try for another 10lbs in the next challenge, I have 3 birthdays during the next couple of months (DS's, mine, then OH's) so I'm not sure if I will manage to lose a pound every week, but if I do then anything over the 10 will be a nice bonus. Well done to all that reached their targets, and those that didn't best of luck on the next challenge.

Last night's dinner - I promised myself that at the end of the challenge I'd treat myself to a take away so in true OS style I picked up a curry from Mr M. Unfortunately I chose the wrong one and the first - and only - forkful nearly blew my mouth off! Still have blisters inside my bottom lip this morning :(. So I had a Gin$ters pasty instead. And a fresh cream and fruit scone. Then I felt sick. Needless to say the binge food craving is well and truly over! :o

    Today
B - hm toast and marmalade
L - 1 x finger roll with peanut butter, 1 with rf cheese & tomato
D - curried chicken (put the left over from yesterday in the sc with a fresh chicken, lots of veg, coconut and water. Hope it cools it down a bit!) with salad
    S - fresh fruit
E - 2x10 mins, knackered after yesterdays running around so just looking forward to a longggg siesta after lunch

    Have a good day :)

Hi Knit witch, Thank you for all your sterling efforts in keeping score for all these weeks and reading all the posts and for being there....

Anyway, the reason I am posting tonight is because I have been doing some research on the Cadburys pop'n candy or whatever it was callled....... :)

I saw it in the supermarket so I paid the full price and bought it for beloved.... He's a chocolate fanatic... So the question was is it better than white toblerone ?????

Well, he started munching it and surprise, surprise, he didn't like it... Now he's the one that eats his way through my stash of cooking chocolate (which is Belgian)... anything worth eating in the fridge, all biscuits .... In fact, the only food that is safe is of the Whiskas variety.... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I was a bit disappointed, as I paid full price so I had a little... The popping sensation in the mouth reminded me of one of the Neslie Chocolate Oranges... and I didn't think much of the jellies etc... Well, I might not have appreciated the finer points of the chocolate, but I trotted back and forth to the fridge all night until there was only one square left.... which I have just eaten (for scientific research, of course, :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

So having carried out the investigation, the chocolate has to go on the banned list.... It might not taste the same as my toblerone but it was definitely addictive and I might just drag the ladder up 3 flights (from basement to bedroom) to munch it..... so it won't be bought again .... as I hope to lose weight during the next challenge....

    Have a nice weekend.....
  • *collapses in a heap in a corner* I made it throoooough my triple shift! Was up at 6am, oh the horror, I didnt know they made that hour still :rotfl: Worked 8.30-11.00 then 11.30-2.10, then 2.30 - 5.30!

As you can imagine food has been a bit all over the place.
b (on train lol) - banana + special k cereal bar
s (between 1st and 2nd shift) - hoisin duck + salad wrap, crisps
s (between 2nd and 3rd shift) - sausage roll, cereal bar
dinner (at 8pm) - small vegetable pizza, salad, piece of h/m corned beef pie. glass of rose wine.
s - half a bar of THAT chocolate. [like you, OG, I was doing research..... :o]

    Will weigh in tomorrow :)
