Knit Witch - please put me down for 14lbs. I have been trying but getting nowhere fast but am determined to move downwards!!
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

KW - Would you put me down for 7lbs again, please. If I aim too high, I'll just start telling myself that I'll never achieve it and give up :o

Btw- does the 'Knit' bit of your sig mean that you're a secret knitter?

Got you down MrsCD and yes to being a Secret Knitter (as opposed to a secret lemonade drinker!)

Ellie: I hope it is really good.... Is it as good as white chocolate toblerone ???? If it isn't, I don't want to eat it .... Only if it comes up to par... I don't want to eat it for eating's sake :A

Daisiegg: Couldn't you roll along on one of these buggies that go anywhere ... over rocks etc... so that you can ride along a bit of the way.... :)

I don't know how it compares to white toblerone officeguru, I've never had one. I never could work out how to eat a toblerone without hurting the top of my mouth, so it's probably over 30 years since I had one (and didn't know they made white ones).

Maybe daisiegg could strap her feet to a skateboard, and her new DH could pull her along? or what about those two wheeled motorized things you stand up on...can't remember what they're called...they look really good fun!

ooo I like that one but I have to say I prefer the cookie nut crunch one..but thats because it doesnt affect my sensitive teeth as much.

I haven't tried the cookie crunch one...think it would be better if I don't :rotfl:

Am I the only one who doesn't fancy that new chocolate? The thought of jelly and chocolate together does nothing for me I'm afraid! But then again I don't like those rubbery jelly sweets either.

Mrs CD...that's exactly what my friend said...then she tried one!
Don't stress about the lack of F & V, you've more important things to cope with.

    Todays food

    B: cornflakes, ss milk
L: porridge, made with half and half
D: Mexican chicken, veggies, couple of roast potatoes
S: some of *that* chocolate :o

Breakfast was slightly unusual today...my normal cornflakes in the bowl, then I reached for the jar with the sultanas to scatter a few on the top, and shook coffee on the cereal...well, you can't really pick coffee off cereal, so I just ate it, a bit of an acquired taste...I'll be more careful tomorrow :)

Thanks for the comments and suggestions ladies :D

Yesterday was not a good diet day. Oops....still, pick up and move on!

B - bran flakes with strawberries, tea
S - mini banana smoothie, picking at jelly beans all morning which were being used as prizes for students
L - sardine and tomato paste and lettuce sandwich on WeightWatchers bread, apple
S - 2(!) jam sandwiches using the WW bread, tea (I know, I know. What was I thinking? I was so exhausted when I got home from work after taking Y8 on a school trip, and was starving...but really...one should definitely have been enough!)
D - chicken and prawn paella, glass of diluted elderflower cordial

Total cals came to 1889 :eek::eek::eek: but at least I have logged them all (and perhaps overestimated some things like the jelly beans, but better to overestimate than underestimate)

Today my foot is absolutely killing me, all swollen and stiff and I can hardly walk. I was walking around a LOT yesterday including walking around bare foot on hard floors a lot (school trip to a Hare Krishna temple in Watford, which is in an old manor house, and no shoes allowed, so walking around up and down stairs etc all on very hard wood floors with no support for my foot :() I wanted to mow the lawn today which is really good exercise but not sure I'll manage. Ho hum.
  • Daisie, this may sound like a ridiculous question....but what sort of bandage are you wearing on your foot? Are you still in some kind of cast? Whats the deal here?
