Also savesummore.....I'm not ellie but I'll let you into her shameful secret she shared with me lol. :rotfl:

hhmmm, should we tell or not???

theatregirl, have you already told? If you know, savesummore, DON'T DON'T DON'T try it! It will test your willpower, and maybe wreck your weight loss! I blame my mother for buying the first bar :)

Knit Witch, can you please include me in the next challenge? I promise to try much harder this time!
Not sure what I should aim for, but I'll say I'd like to lose 10 lbs.

  • Okay so today had to get up early to take DM and her friend to train station....they're off to some QVC jewellery event lol.

So came home, had breakfast, then I had a quite of a burst of energy - so did the dishes and cleaned the counters and put away the wok from cooking risotto yesterday. Then put some bits and pieces out in the garage that were lurking in a corner, tidied the front room and then went out, put bunnies from hutches > run, cleaned their litter boxes, and THEN swept the corner of the garden by the gate as it was very very icky!!
Then came back in, played on the xbox for a bit :o and then I decided to cook a pasta bake....so found a tin of tomatoes in the fridge, added some cheese, stirred it all up and bunged it in the oven for 20 minutes. So very proud of myself for being active :D

I will be portioning it to freezer/refrigerate but will try and post a photo before I do :D cos it looks SO lovely lol

    b - 2 x turkey rashers + sliced tomato in a sandwich (2 small slices)
l - some of the cheese and tomato pasta bake I made
d - hm stirfry portion after work tonight
snacks - 2 x oreo bics, fruit pot

Remember folks - the new challenge starts on Saturday! Time to start thinking if you want to join in and if so how much you hope to lose.

Let me know so I can get you on the spreadsheet/list!
KW - Would you put me down for 7lbs again, please. If I aim too high, I'll just start telling myself that I'll never achieve it and give up :o

Btw- does the 'Knit' bit of your sig mean that you're a secret knitter?

Am I the only one who doesn't fancy that new chocolate? The thought of jelly and chocolate together does nothing for me I'm afraid! But then again I don't like those rubbery jelly sweets either.

Feeling a bit zombieish today as we've been back and forth to the hospital last night, then again this morning. It's a round trip of about 50 - 55 miles each time. We got about 4 hours sleep in between, and I popped in to work for a couple of hours this afternoon. Hoping all will be ok in a couple of weeks. Sorry can't say any more than that as person involved wouldn't want me to say anything.

Foodwise, I think I've been fairly ok today.
    B - berries cereal
L -Ham sandwich with a few lf crisps and a small hm fruit scone
D - corned beef stew with peas on top, and some seedy bread, small bowl trifle - to use up!
Not much f&v when you see it written down :D
