Something to cheer you up Sparrer!!0

Oh no poor you Sparrer! Sending you another virtual hug from me too.
I need to get myself back to it all. Sunday I had a big cooked breakfast, plus a pain au chocolat, before champagne afternoon tea with my mum in the afternoon and shared a bag of sweets with DH that evening too.
Then yesterday I had chocolate porridge for breakfast, then lunch was beans on toast with a carrot and fruit bar. Then it starts to go downhill... lol. I had a chocolate choux bun, as I had bought some cream cakes to celebrate paying off a loan I had to help fund my post graduate studies. Then DH and I went to a colleague's for dinner and I drank lots of wine, ate nibbles, then had a goats cheese starter, lasagne for main and chocolate cake with ice cream for pudding, all rounded off with chocolate truffles! :rotfl: Not good! (well actually very good but not very diet haha). To top it off though I have a slight hangover this morning0 -
Thank you so much for all your kind thoughts, words and much appreciated hugs. I have to think of the good times we had, and carry on caring for Ying's brother, Yang (who should be called Asbo, he's a very different character from his sister who was such a prim little lady but kept us all in order!).
Eyes still a bit leaky and now drooling as well, that keyboard looks so good theatregirl. What with that and the caramelised biccy (yummmm) you sure know how to bring back a (virtual) appetite
B - you're right it's Fruit and Fibre, or as per ellie's translation, Florence and Fred. I find it has too much fruit, nuts etc 'neat' so buy a big box of economy bran flakes and mix the two together. SS milk
D - Last of the pasta bol
T - Hm veg soup, 2 crackerbread
S - grapes, melon
E - gardening. Didn't get the lawn mowed yesterday so has to be done today.
Have a good Tuesday0 -
B - F&F
L - none
D - cheese & pickle roll
S - none
E - none
Lots of hugs being sent your way sparrer.
As soon as I read your menu (got home and onto t'internet last night) I knew you were upset about your cat.
If I have problems or am a bit stressed, I turn to food, but if things are REALLY bad, I can't eat, I guess a lot of us are the same.
Glad you have your other cat to take care of x
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -

Ok, so I am not doing so well on the attempt to get back on the wagon...but I shall 'fess up' yesterday's food diary in an attempt to shame myself into not doing the same thing today!
B - frosted wheats, soya milk, tea
S - banana
L - WW chicken wrap
S - cup of tea, two dairy free chocolate digestives
S - (this is when it started going downhill as DH was late home from work and I was starving waiting for him to eat lunch) - handful of dry cereal, packet of crisps
D - two types of curry, pilau rice, pita bread, dairy free chocolate dessert, can of cider!!!!:eek::eek:

Hugs Sparrer xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
