What a beautiful day, and I can't think of anything more perfect than yellow bouquet, yellow buttonholes yellow flower arrangements and most of all a cake with yellow daisies all over it. I just love yellow flowers, in fact I just love yellow! :D

Ahh thank you I was very happy with the flowers :)

Well to be honest....I am struggling having a broken foot...and have been sitting here blubbing my eyes out for the last hour because I tripped while I was going down the stairs and banged the broken foot as well as twisting the other foot and carpet burning all up my arm...I am worried about the broken foot as it is really hurting and concerned I have done some damage to it and my next fracture clinic appointment isn't for 2 weeks...DH is working from home today as we had our wedding presents from our gift list delivered, but he is very stressed and busy and in a bad mood so we haven't even opened them yet...he told me off for not being careful enough after I fell down the stairs....and changing my name is proving to be bl**dy difficult and time consuming.....so right now I feel like married life (or just life!) is a bit rubbish!! Bet you wish you hadn't asked! :rotfl:

Oh no poor you Dasie! If you are concerned about your foot perhaps call the clinic to see if you can have an earlier appointment? I remember thinking life was a bit rubbish for the first month or so of being back from honeymoon as it just doesn't have the same excitement as the run up to the wedding does.

I can't decide what to do for dinner later but know I need to be good so may have a jacket potato again. Am out for dinner with my brother tomorrow so that probably won't be brilliant diet wise and am having afternoon tea with my mum on Sunday. Life gets in the way of dieting somewhat doesn't it?! :rotfl:

I did call the clinic on the advice of my sister (medical student)...the grumpy receptionist was about as useful as a chocolate teapot. The clinic I attend is only on Tuesday mornings so the best they can do is moving my appointment forward to next Tuesday. Not sure if that will help really but never mind!

How about the local A&E instead then? If you're that worried and dont want to wait a week.....and I dont think anyone would blame you...

You can always eat that chocolate teapot while you're sitting in the waiting room.......

The photos are lovely Mrs Daisiegg. You both look so happy.

What a shame about your foot. Could you ring your GP for some advice, or pop to the walk-in centre? Hope you're feeling a bit better soon.

I've been awol for a while, but is it ok to come back???

Oooh, I love your photos Daisiegg, especially the one signing the register. Looks like it was a wonderful day, Mr Daisiegg is a very lucky man!
Sorry you're having such a rubbish afternoon, put your feet up and have more cake :)

I must have a very warped sense of humour...Mrs CD's advice to go to the walk in centre had me giggling...

It's ok....I found crackers, pât! and red wine to aid me in gaining 5lbs this week so that no one feels jealous of me having had cake for breakfast.....aren't I selfless? :rotfl:

That's very good of you daisiegg, thank you :rotfl:

I've learnt something tonight, something bad...had chicken curry for evening meal (mostly the veg and sauce) with a naan bread...just looked at the naan packet (AFTER I ate it, I know, I know) and ONE naan is 342 calories!!!
And I thought I was having a low calorie meal :(
