I agree, alter your clothes now so you can feel good in them and then treat yourself to some new ones when you have lost all the weight you want to. Plus throw away the big clothes, or recycle or make small or whatever, I just mean don't keep bigger clothes as I find having clothes that fit me when I am bigger just means I allow myself to get bigger. If I have no clothes that will fit me other than the ones I currently have (or some that are smaller which I aim to fit into) then I am less likely to let myself get any bigger. I only enjoy shopping for clothes in smaller sizes haha.

    B - chocolate porridge
L- lentil pate, melba toast, carrot, fresh pineapple and strawberry fruit bar
D- we are going out now so don't know!
E - walked to work and plan on walking home too

PS... I hope you're doing proper gardening, and not digging up chocolate that's been thrown there in previous weeks...I recall you saying white toblerone showed up in the garden really well the following day...:rotfl:

Thanks for that.... Yes, I am doing proper gardening... well I was until halfwit broke my fork !!! :( I wouldn't mind but he wouldn't know one end from another and it has stood me in good stead for the past 20 years... Now I have to use his new fangled one which is shaped funny for yuppydom... Whereas the normal one has evolved over hundreds of years...

Anyway, I have harvested all of the white toblerone... The dark one didn't survive the frost.. whereas the milk chocolate one was lifted in time for Christmas :rotfl::rotfl:

Hi Mrs Dragon, I am being dragged to the World Superbikes at Monza... :( Luckily I have relations in Milan so they have asked me over to spend the time with them.. The language won't be a problem as my cousin speaks English and I have a smattering of Italian... but I don't want to look like a lump when I am there... :)

Sound advice... If I kept all the sizes I would be able to go up and down and have clothes to fit, whereas if I do what you suggest, I will only be able to go down the way

A bit late but I agree. Em is right when she said throw away the big clothes, I did (with difficulty, took a few weeks to get up the courage), now only keep 12's and 14's, and if the 14's ever get tight I wont buy bigger ones. Considering I was wearing 18/20's for a very long time I refuse to go back there!

B - F&F, ss milk. 1/2 banana on slice of bread spread with ff yogurt
D - grilled Cumberland sausage, 2 rashers lean back bacon, 1/2 tomato, sautee'd mushrooms and 1/2 red onion, dry fried egg
T - last of the beef & veg soup, wm roll.
    S grapes, satsuma 1/2 nana
E - out this morning at garden centre, must have walked miles up and down the rows! 2x10 mins.

    sweet dreams :)

Another one who thinks Em makes a very good point about getting rid of your big clothes...as I've gone up and down over the years I've kept some of my big clothes, and every time I've eventually put the weight back on again. I usually have 3 sizes in my wardrobe :(
I also keep my favourite smaller clothes, I've always seen it as a money saving thing, not having to buy new if my weight changes, but perhaps that is the wrong way to look at it!
The "what you resist, persists" theory says if you keep clothes which are too small you will never lose the weight to fit into them, but I don't believe it...I have some very nice small clothes, and I WILL wear them again...the biggest problem is if you take too long they might be unfashionable (although most of my things are basics that won't go out of fashion)

5lbs in a week? I'm eating the wrong cake! Where is this calorie laden goodness to be found?! :rotfl:
  • Hi all,

Been reading your posts and giggling to myself, half the office thinks i'm mad :)

Office guru - def agree with all those before me to recycle your bigger clothes. I have 1 pair of size 14 work trousers which are my 'measure' - if these get tight i get all the motivation i need to pick up the pace!

Daisiegg - chocolate cake for breakfast? OMG, i've been craving the ganache off the cake (not the cake lol and yes, i did a pregnancy test lol)

Anyway - had an awful weekend with an eat all you want mentality. Pretty sure i put at least a pound back on so determined to at least STS this week!

    Food today:

    B: apple, banana, coffee
    s - nothing yet
L - some sort of low cal sandwich, water
    s - 99 kcal 'llamas'
    D - Quorn tikka in a bun
s - 1 mini nobbly bobbly (stolen from kids stash in the freezer but only 112 kcals!)

Exercise: 30 min walk to work and back plus 30 mins cardio at gym

Hope everyone is having a good day and enjoying the sunshine :)
