Much calmer day at work today so I'm feeling less frantic, and therefore less likely to eat naught food!
    B- 2 slice toast, 2 cheese triangles
L- pasta salad with beetroot and almonds, banana and apple.
D- Mum was watching the kids today so she had made jacket pots, ratatoullie and panco chicken breasts.
Wull have a cup of tea once the kids are in bed and maybe a small piece of hm banana cake.

Sorry to hear about your troubles at the po officeguru some people are small minded and bigoted and mud slinging is the very top of their level xxx

Wow that doesn't sound very friendly office guru! And also a very unsafe place to park!

Today has been pretty good diet wise, helped in a way by having to work late so no time to snack when I got in. I had nutrigrain biscuits for breakfast, then tomato and basil soup for lunch with a can of diet coke, tangerine, sweet chilli crackers and a strawberry fruit bar. Dinner was homemade vegetable pizza and just had a homemade choc cupcake. Not too bad for first day and I walked home from work which is around 2.5 miles.

Anyone else find snacking in the evenings a big problem? Any suggestions on how to get out of the habit? Myself and my husband have got into the habit of sitting and munching our way through a big bag or crisps, biscuits, sweets or such like in the evening while watching tv.

Wow Officeguru, that's quite a story! I can't believe he shouted at you in front of all the other customers. He sounds very petty.

Em88, sorry I don't really have any ideas. The only way I can stop myself snacking is to get out of the house, hence why I go swimming. Or cups of tea, that's work sometimes too.

Today in terms of food was going really well until I did a favour for a colleague and she thanked me with a cheese scone and chocolate bar. Ooops... 2nd breakfast!

    b. 2 hot shredded wheat with chopped dates and apricots.
    l. Salmon, chili, tomato, cous cous, shallots, sweetcorn and courgette parcel with broccoli.
    d. the most amazing homemade onion soup. Made with no fat but with a bit of grated parmesan on top.
    s. choc bar, cheese scone, cereal bar, mango, blueberries.
    e. 1 hour swim

Stressful day at work, so I found myself snacking on some choccies left in the tea room, ate about 6!

Spent an hour and a half in the gym this evening trying to burn them off!

Sorry to hear about your run in with the PO man, sounds like a vile sort! You have nice friends though, so all is not lost and now you can't buy snacks from there, so every cloud has a silver lining.:D

I could make it but I know that they wouldn't get eaten :rotfl::rotfl: we are better in the summer when we can snack on berries and grapes etc but they don't really have a great deal of flavour yet. We have been having ice lollies and smoothy lollies recently which has worked well. I have a massive sweet tooth!

Eye bright I often find goodies in our kitchen at work, so tempting!

Shopped for fruit this am at the market, then popped into Mr M for milk. They had deep fresh cream and fruit scones rtc @ 20p for two and I resisted! Could have kicked myself when a friend came in for a cuppa this afternoon though.
Also ordered some clotted cream for a friends birthday from a super creamery in S Devon (I wonder if it's near you Eyebright). I usually have it delivered to me so I can have a wee tub too but this time it's being sent directly to her house.
    My halo's getting tight :rotfl:

really pleased with myself as today's calories came to 1456 :D

didnt include it on my last post but exercise wise did some painting and cleaning in my room - the walls are white with stencils on them but where the bunnies were up there for the winter there were some quite grubby marks which wouldnt come off so had to hide them somehow! :rotfl:

will be posting tomorrow afternoon again as off to the hairdressers in the morning and want to pop to the pet store as well to get nibbles for the bunnies :) we have recently discovered our Milka loves rocket leaves so even he's eating healthily!!

Really annoyed with myself over the last few weeks as I keep eating rubbish that I do not even enjoy.

I seem to do really well for about 5 or 6 weeks then it all goes to hell in a handcart.

I need to focus, I need to start walking again, no excuse as the weather has been great here.

Most of all I just need to stop eating for the sake of eating.

Oh well tomorrow is another day
