Hello sorry been a busy weekend sorting the house and so on for matters fiscal. DH redundancy was confirmed ....
I have lost 2.5lb this week. Worry probably helped!
For the next challenge I want to lose another 6lb please and then I need to keep it off. I think with the lack of money coming into this house it is going to be a battle not to resort to cheap sugary rubbish but may swing the other way and be great for on going weight loss!Start info Dec11

Oh thank you all so much. You have made me feel so much better
TG, Thank you, you really made me smile! But I daren't go into L*dl at the moment for fear of being accosted by the caramelized biscuits!
N2BT, I have been using MFP but just looking at the total calories used and eaten - I think maybe I'd better investigate it a bit more. I think I do eat a lot of carbs so maybe i need to change it about
OG, Thank you
Ellie, OK you've convinced me!
So therefore, Madam Dragon, can you put me down for 7lbs again.
Mind you, I am spending the week in Devon with my friends so I my need to lose 7lbs to get back to my starting point!!!0 -
A chant of 'fairy cakes, fairy cakes' is much more appealing than 'lettuce soup, lettuce soup'!
I ended up going to the pub last night so I had a yummy pizza and lots of empty calories in liquid form. Totally worth it though, a great night.
Today was a lazy day as winter is back again.
b. oats with half a grated apple and tbsp of raisins soaked in nat yoghurt and water.
l. smoked mackerel and couscous salad. yummy!
d. vegetable soup
s. raisins (maybe a few too many!), ns jelly and ns yoghurt.
e. 1 hour swim
Last night in the bath I was thinking about the next challenge. The description of what I did next is a bit odd so I apologise. I had a few pinches and found 14 points where I'd like to lose weight. 2 x upper arms, 3 x tummy, 2 x hips, 2x behind knees, 4 x thighs and 1 under chin. I know you cannot choose where to lose weight from, if you could it would all be going from my belly rather than boobs! But it's nice to have something to visualise, I think therefore I will say I want to aim for 14 pounds. Told you it was weird!
The end of the challenge will coincide with my big move back to the UK. I would love to have reached the end of my weight loss by then so I can start afresh with maintaining my weight rather than trying to lose.
Start of a new week tomorrow and I hope everyone has a good one.0 -
Managed to be good today after yesterday's slip up!
Here's my food plan for tomorrow,
B - Weetabix x2, Milk
S - Grapes and Strawberries
L - Chicken Salad Sandwich on Granary Bread
T - Chorizo and Bean Casserole, Rice
That comes to 1339 calories which isn't quite enough! Will have to add in a couple of snacks and maybe another side dish of veg to tea.September Grocery Challenge £0/£2250 -
Well, I learnt 2 things over the weekend
1 I haven't forgotten how to bake cakes
2 I can't eat just one(and officeguru, I definitely can't leave the topping on the plate!)
So this week will involve a bit of damage limitation, trying to reverse the damage I've done
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
