Congratulations WW :T, and all losers & sts's. Well done all the triers
Ellie I'm 4' 11 1/2", BMI is 26 which makes me just overweight. Not that I feel it, I'm wearing size 12 and occasionally a 14 depending on the make. Ideally I should be between 7 and 8 stone, but I don't think that's healthy for my age so I'd like to get to 8st 10-12lb.
Thank you for your encouragement, I plod on.

Another 1lb off for me !Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0

Another 2lbs loss for me. A little surprising as I haven't done much walking this week, as I have been trying to rest my dodgy toe.0

Well, waiting until Saturday didn't make any difference...I'm still a STS
This weight loss lark is hard going, it's going to take me all year at this rate!
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
You all seem to be doing well - Im still with you and will WI at the end. I do feel much better for not having weighed as I was obsessed by the scales. I even found them the other day and got hubby to move them again to a very inaccessible place!!I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Despite being on holiday and eating freely, I managed to lose 1/2 lb! I guess I was more active than usual. Hope it wasn't a freak measurement. I do wonder if it depends whereabouts on the floor I put the scales.0

I have been lurking and not posting as I'm getting used to not having a job. I decided to let myself have a two week break - I suffer from fatigue and was advised to take a proper rest (which is really hard). No irony there - I feel guilty when I rest :-( I weighed in this morning and have 2lb gain:eek:whitesatin wrote: »I don't usually post here but I do read and hope you don't mind me asking a question.
I am 61 years old, started the year at 14st 12lbs and am now down to
Anyway, my question is, why is it that every afternoon around 3pm, I get really tired and have to have a nap (when possible)?
Whitesatin Have you had your iron level checked? I started needing a lot of naps and tests showed very low iron. Tiredness can be a symptom of a lot of other things - best get checked at the doc.WelshWoofer wrote: »I am officially sneaking back in with my tail well and truly between my legs - please feel free to rub my nose in the poop that has been my food for the past few weeks.:o:o:o:o:o

WW - I am following your example and coming back. Glad to see you - your posts about exercise are always so inspiring. I know the only way I can make progress is to start exercising too.I am reporting a STS this week
I know it is silly but I am actually really gutted! I nearly cried when I stepped on the scales. I know I was due a bad week as it happens to everyone and I have lost every week so far, but even so.
Don't let one STS spoil show a wonderful time in your life - you are doing great.
Well done everyone, and Dragon - thanks for keeping count, especially since I think you posted elsewhere that you've been keeping poorly.
Good luck for the week everyone.

A beautiful day here, first time this year in the garden properly rather than just popping out to clear up after the dog (sorry if tmi
). Lots of weeds pulled, tubs forked over, shrubs trimmed/tied back. Now[STRIKE] knackered[/STRIKE] exhausted and looking forward to my siesta after lunch
B - spicy, fruity porridge
L - grilled back bacon, dry-fried egg on slice of WW wm toast
D - beef and bean casserole, couscous
S - melon, grapes, pear, plums
E - usual plus about 1 1/2 hours gardening
frankerooney I agree about the positioning of the scales, mine can register 2lb + or - if I don't put it in the same place every time0
