  • I'm just posting to report a 2lbs loss in week one

I'm needing to change my weigh day to a Monday as my scales have packed in and I can't afford new ones, but I go to my Mam's on a Monday so can weigh there.

Have meal planned the week so as long as I don't fall face first into a rogue dairy milk I should be ok :o

  • Morning All

Pouring down with rain here and very windy. Made the school run very interesting
I am clearing my head cold but now have a squeeky voice for a few days. Not good for making the phone calls I have to do :D they must think I am weird.

    Breakfast: F&F + ss milk
    Lunch: seeded bread salad sandwich
Dinner: Soup with a slice of bread to dip
    Snacks: none
    Drink: water

Hope everyone can find some sun today.
    DC xx
  • Morning all. Was good last night and had enough calories left so had a hot chocolate and a biscuit. Almost worth eating fruit all day for!

    Plan for today:
B: small glass of smoothie, cereal bar
L: left over stir fry from ladt night, petit filous, fruit
    S: Fruit
D: Not entirely sure as OH is out tonight so will be making a meal for one which is a rare occasion. The nights he's not in are when I tend to eat rubbish. He keeps me motivated! So it's going to be hard not to be bad tonight but I will do my best.

Exercise: Half hour zumba class after work.

Hope everyone has a good day. I am so impressed when I read what you are all eating. I can't believe the people that have no snacks though -how do you do it! xx

oh and I was doing so welll.... oops. Blame the witch for the 3 flapjacks, two mini choc pots and two oranges that I ate AFTER my omelette.

Some people feel the need to snack more than others, I think ti depends on what you eat and how your body uses it. Snacking can be very good for you as long as it's the right things... she says...

    I will join you Ragz.

Im feeling so demotivated today and I have put on 2.5 lbs overnight. I know it is not real but it is so demoralising.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Made a gorgeous ratatouille recipe today from BBC website. I must have tried it the first time about 20 years ago, but back then I didn't like peppers, aubergines, corgettes or tomatoes so no wonder. Anyway, this had made me write it off, but now I like most of those. Have to say it was absolutely delish and will cook again. Might even have it without meat next time, which is really saying something.

I am very, very excited! (How sad) :)

I'm there with you Ragz, my stomach definitely copes better with a little and often, but its changing my mindset from the mid morning/afternoon snacks being crisps, chocs, biscuits, cakes etc, etc, etc to FRUIT, FRUIT, FRUIT.

Ooh I love it too but generally on its own with loads of nice crusty bread to soak up those lovely juices from the oil and veg.

I think I've been doing ok for the past couple of days, but met a friend in town for lunch today - decided on the Express Lunch which is Soup & Sandwich - only to find the French Onion Soup had this HUGE crouton floating on top, except it was not a crouton but a deep fried mini ham and cheese sandwich  (Crock Monsieur is that what they call them) . So that along with the Kett!e type crisps also on the plate has scuppered my plans for being :A
