    Morning everyone,

Very pleased to report a 4lb loss this week :j Good luck to those still to post.

jaxjax123 - are you drinking enough fluid? I know this is something that my ex-SW consultant used to always ask. Keep going - we are here for you if you want to rant :)

I am absolutely bloody gutted, I have been eating like a sparrow (1200 cal) no fat, chocolate or "bad" food has entered my body I have done 30 mins exercise everyday sometime 2 hours. Yet my weight lose is only 1lb. Being my first week I'd expect 3-4lb then a slow down from week 2 but no.
I really have gone hell for leather. I sat at uni eating a chicken salad (with no dressing) whilst my fellow students were having a full english.
I just don't know what do do.

    Hello, do you know me?
If you don't you should. I'm a pound of fat, and I'm the happiest pound of fat that you would ever want to meet.
    Want to know why? It's because no one ever wants to lose me;
I'm Only One Pound, just a pound.
Everyone wants to lose three pounds, five pounds or fifteen pounds, but never only one,
so I just stick around and happily keep you fat.
Then I add to myself ever so slyly so that you never seem to notice it, that is until I've grown to ten, twenty or even more pounds in weight.
Yes, it's fun being Only One Pound of fat, left to do as I please.
So, when you weigh in, keep right on saying "Oh, I only lost one pound."
( as if that were such a terrible thing!)
For you see, if you do this you'll encourage others to keep me around because they will think I'm not worth losing.
And I love being around you -
your arms, your legs, your chin, your hips and every part of you.
Happy Days!! After all, I'm Only One Pound of fat!!!

Dont forget the bigger picture :j ONE POUND is a FAB loss!! :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

I haven’t been around for a while, but have been trying to keep up with the thread – gosh it moves fast these days and some very interesting discussions…….

Like some others I started a week early but that doesn’t alter my target of 7lbs and am very pleased to report a 3lb loss – wayhay - :j back under the 10st mark, fingers crossed I can keep it up. Although with the change in the weather due over the weekend I doubt that I will be out walking as much – oh dear…..that means getting the dreaded “shred” dvd dusted off – again

Well done to everyone who has already posted a loss :T

I'm honestly in complete shock and really angry with myself and depressed all at the same time over the reading on the scale this morning. I'm exactly the same as I was last week, so a loss of 0 pounds for me. And here I thought I was doing well.

I feel like no matter how well I do with my eating and exercise, nothing changes.

I'm going to cut back even more on my calories, not eat carbs, and not eat gluten from here on out. Not like it will make a difference, but at least I'll feel like I'm doing something. I hate feeling like this. :wall:

I stayed the same so 0lb loss for me:(
I have been following the 30 day shred dvd (I'm on day 6) and I'm hoping that this has something to do with no loss. Hopefully it will show next week.
Although, I do feel much better in myself for including the exercise everyday:)

    Morning everyone,
Week one and I am pleased to say I have lost 5lb :T:T:T:T:T

I do have a large amount to lose, so was hoping for a good number to get me started, the test will be this next week, to see if I can continue it.

Well done to those of you who have already posted a loss and if it wasn't quite what you expected, then don't give up, I know only to well the dissapointment when you get on the scales and it doesn't show what you wanted to see. My advice, which probably a lot of you are already doing, is to note down everything that you eat and keep an acurate track on those calories, it can be so easy to miss that extra spooful of something or an extra drink that may be enough extra calories to make the difference, especially when its added up every day - I am not saying that is the cause, because everyone is different, but thats my experience and usual downfall. I'm using MFP and would reccommend it and it's free, no more weekly meeting costs.
Also to weigh everthing as my 30g bowl of cereal freepour, is a lot different to the weighed version!
The other element which is my downfall is exercise, when I managed to lose 4 stone , 3 years ago I was walking 5 miles every day, but I have to admit I haven't done that yet in this challenge, its now snowing, so don't think it will happen today either. I can hear the exercise bike calling though!

The main thing is that you have joined the challenge and today is a new day and new week, so good luck to all with the challenge.:)

Rossy2692 - I like the 'one pound of fat' post, will try to remember that.
