Ooooh please Dragon! 14lb please :)
    Hello everyone :)

Long time lurker here! Love reading about how everyone is getting on, please may I join the 12 week challenge?

I'd like to aim for 12lbs in 12 weeks please :o eeek scared already!

Working night shifts and having a love of cooking does not mix well... oh and an OH who very kindly but not so helpfully always brings me home pastries, chocs etc!! And I have zero confidence when it comes to exercise.

Going to weigh myself on friday, not quite sure how hard the christmas munching has hit me, at a guess I'm probably somewhere around 11st 8 or more.

    Good luck to everyone! xxx

    545 lbs!! Surely that's a baby elephant??:rotfl::rotfl:
    We'd better get cracking ladies!

Having another use it up type of day foodwise. Some strange concoctions going on but all edible and trying hard to keep it within my cals for the day. Haven't gone over since I started back on the 28th Dec but there's plenty of time for it all to go wrong!

Need to do some sweaty exercise today - had yesterday off so I'm thinking a good long dog walk (he's had his hair cut today, the groomer looked horrified at what the vet had done with razor in order to do the scans, drips etc) followed by a bit of Tae Bo.

Weigh in day tomorrow so no naughties today!

Weighed myself this morning and am as sick as a parrot, I've put on 6lb over the holidays :(. Completely ashamed of myself and determined I'm going to lose all of it by the end of the challenge, I really want to get below the stone mark this time. I have no excuse except greed/laziness :o

Going to have a look at mfp, I need all the help I can get!

I joined myfitnesspal on Tuesday and it's really good. Helps you track food and exercise and it's FREE unlike WW or SW which costs ££ every week.

    Feeling hungry today!

B - porridge with skmd milk
L - HM leek & potato soup, bread roll
D - Weight Watchers ready curry (freezer stock) AMMENDED decided to do tuna pasta and salad
    S - 2 snack a jacks, melon/pineapple

Went out for a 20 minute walk to get some milk. Been drinking water all day to curb my hunger pangs but desperate for my tea!

B - shredded wheat with skimmed milk, 1/2 of a strawberry yoghurt pot, vitamins
L - leftover pork curry, red lentils with creole seasoning
D - (planned) - homemade fish cakes, creole spiced potato wedges, green beans
S - cinnamon apple sauce oatmeal muffin, banana, cup of tea with skimmed milk, navel orange

E - walked 50 minutes at an average 2.5 mph

I still have about 450 calories left in my daily allowance, so I may indulge in a bit of ice cream after dinner to get it out of the freezer! Biiiiggg tub, tiiiny bit of ice cream left.

Must admit, I am shocked at the small amounts that some of you are listing. Crikey, I really need to slap my wrist and cut down on what I am eating!

Tips please for a sweet tooth. What can I have instead of reaching for a piece of cake?:o

For all of the new MFP users.....

Just out of interest how many cals are you aiming for each day?

Don't know if this would help anyone else or not, but I ended up getting DH to put all of the sweets, chocolate syrup, golden syrup, etc. on top of the cabinets. I'm short, don't have a step stool/step ladder, and I don't trust the kitchen chairs to stand in. This means, I cannot reach the sweets any longer! Makes me focus on eating what I can see (and reach), which at the moment is oranges and a banana!
