Evening all,
Today it was my eldest son's birthday and I have been in the kitchen most of the day preparing a party buffet.
B - Nothing.
L - A chicken leg whilst I was on the go.
T - A large baked potato, hm lf coleslaw, 6 assorted small samosas with a chilli and garlic dip and a large portion of birthday cake (well it was made from sponge, strawberries, fresh cream, and a slice of vienetta with it.)
I did actively resist the crisps, popcorn, pizza, and quiche which would have been what I normally went for. :rotfl::rotfl:so all in all not bad.If you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape 100 days of sorrow.......Chinese proverb

Good Morning x
Good luck with Friday Weigh-Ins
As predicted I have STS I am fine with that as technically I am under my fighting weight so that will hopefully bode well for a loss next week.
I have noticed a pattern to my weight loss since doing the previous challenge and this one. It seems to be all or nothing - I can lose 2lbs in a week and then nothing for a couple of weeks.
Is there a pattern to your weight loss???
It means I am finding it easier to cope when my weight STS or even goes up a little (like it did at the beginning of the week). I have also noticed that events such as the " Witch" (Period) and eating salty foods (Baked bean, soy sauce, gammon) also induce a temporary but false weigh gain. This knowledge makes it a little bit easier to stay on the straight and narrow:j:j:jI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Morning, All,
A lovely 2lbs lost this week :j, so that's my first half stone :T
Feeling MUCH slimmer, too, so much so, that I tried on some new trousers last night (bought in sale in the summer). Very strange...my work trousers are size 14 and feeling comfortable...these other 3 pairs of trousers are size 14, and still far too small...how does that work!?!
Good luck everyone!

Morning everyone.
Lavenderbees I think clothes sizing just isn't standard. A lot depends on the shop, style ,even fabric etc. Personally I try not to focus on sizes too much.
Ragz I have sts this week. Thanks for updating.
I haven't decided on my meal plans yet, other than porridge for breakfast, but will try and make them all healthy.
Have a good day everyone, and good luck with the weigh ins.0 -

Another one for the STS club, technically I have lost 1/2lb but I know we are not counting fractions. I am just so relieved that I didn't put on especially after my indulgences this week. Lessons have been learnt.
So today I'm having
B - Poached egg on toast
L - L/O tinned salmon with salad
D - Not sure yet may do a vegetable lasagne with the remaining veg lurking in the fridge.
Have a good day everyone, I'm off to do a tour of the supermarkets in the hopes of bargains/inspiration for next weeks menu plan.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
