I had hoped to get the washing out early today but looks like the forecasters have got it wrong…….again!!

I have been meaning for months to tidy and re-organise my kitchen/utility room and store cupboards. I only have a small kitchen so whilst building up supplies I’ve ended up piling tins etc in any space I could find – so today is the day when everything will be taken out, cupboards cleaned and re-organised – oh joy – don’t you all wish you were me.

    Still eating from the freezer
B – Porridge, drizzle of honey
L – Open Sandwich with prawn mayo & salad
D – Mushroom Curry, rice, chutney

    Morning all :)

In a weird way it actually feels quite good to be back on track. After my 2 lb gain last week I gained another lb over the weekend  but as of this morning I have lost 2 of them so I am really really hoping to have a more positive week this week.

    Yesterday's food...

B - banana porridge with one tsp honey, tea
L - 'jazzed up beans' on one slice of toast with no fat added, tea
D - 'diet' roast chicken - no fat added to the chicken, no stuffing, one tiny potato and a little parsnip roasted with fry light spray, and leeks, green beans and mange touts to fill us up

No snacks or extra calorific drinks or anything. I have run out of light soya milk though which is annoying so I am using non-light, which is still fewer calories than semi skimmed cow's milk but is about twice as much as the light version! Won't get any more until Friday, but I am not going to stop having milky tea or milk at breakfast - being allergic to dairy I need to be careful that I get some calcium.

Hope everyone is having a good week, good luck :)

I can only apologies if my meals are sounding very repetitive but I am concentrating on using up the ready cooked meals I have in the freezer.
    .

N2bT I feel my meals are repetitive too, but in my case I make a cauli cheese or whatever, and have to use it all up as it won't keep. Being OS I can't just buy a small cauli when they're all the same price, so I choose the biggest - well, who wouldn't?! Likewise I make a chicken casserole for instance, portion and freeze it, then have a week-long craving for it and it's gone. Yet my freezer is always full, I don't understand it - maybe I should stop being lured by the YS shelves?

    B - spicy fruity porridge
D - cauli cheese (of course!) 2 slices breast of chicken
T - leek & potato soup, tomato sandwich - 1 slice rf spread, 1 slice rf mayo
    S - satsuma, kiwi, melon
E - painting the low fencing to go round my new fruit patch so done indoors with loads of plastic sheeting down, because like our 'Enry I splash it on all over. I wonder if remembers that...

    Have a sunny day :)

  • Well further to yesterdays post I was quite good with my mealplan, and stuck to it. Didnt have any ww rolls or special k bars as per snacks, had two hm cookies instead, plus a sausage roll from Gre&&s before work :)

Getting a lot of exercise at work still, getting more and more used to doing the stairs and am always on my feet and walking places :) Last week was the opera, and so had to deal with the stroppy customers - this week is a much needed change as the customers are so nice!

    mealplan for today:
    b- quaker microwavable porridge.
l- 4 x frankfurter sausages, done in the microwave, 2 small slices white bread.
d- pasta carbarona with bacon pieces and a white/cheese sauce.
s- ww mini choc roll, going to have remaining cookie with tea later before work as well.

    Hi everyone

Ive been off work poorly again today but thankfully feel alot more human now so should be able to drag myself back into the land of living tomorrow :p

My eating has been strange at best and i have tried to be good but have eaten what I fancied which seemed to be very carb based!! Porridge and toast mainly but not much of it

I havent been swimming since a week last Sunday  and to be honest think it would be foolish for me to go until im 100% right so not for a good few days i imagine

    Be good all :)
