Ditto that - however I have late nights at work, so I end up eating a late breakfast EVERY morning, around 10.30am or so.
Doesnt seem to do me too much harm! :rotfl:0 -
S - bag of crisps (gave blood and had to have a snack at the clinic
)
Definitely deserved a bag of crisps - in fact you deserved a gold medal and a pat on the back from me for giving blood. I regularly receive blood and I cant begin to tell you how instantaneous the change is in my health. My colour changes from translucent white to rosy pink, my blood pressure rises and my heart beat drops and becomes steady. Blood is truly the elixir of life and the people that donate are doing a very special, life saving and life enhancing thing:T:T:TI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Why thank you (takes a bow) I do it because I can, and because I used to go along with my Mum when I was small, so for me it's a normal thing to do. I got my silver (25) award today - yay! So glad to hear it makes a difference to you
In other news....I've just finished a rather large pile of ironing (needs must...) and I have treated myself to a small portion of hm apple crumble - does that count as one of my five a dayCross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 17/25 Currently reading The Ghost Fields by Elly Griffiths0 -

Just rallying with my morning cuppa. I'm reducing my tea intake drastically but I can't be without my morning cup of tea.
I was really pleased with my efforts last night. I ate a tea plate of curry and rice and was satisfied. I think eating that potato at 8.30 helps keep hunger away. (i'll add in my sig later why I'm doing it so I don't need to explain each time why I eat a plain baked pot before bed)
So today:
b: 2 poached eggs
l: chicken, broccoli, cheese pasta bake
d: pumpkin soup, wholemeal bread and 1 slice of pumpkin pie and custard. (small)NOvember Challenge #33: shopping £35/£180 ~ NSD's 0/25 ~ blips £0

Morning all, (hugs to Dragon and anyone else that needs one)
Helloooo to the newbies.
I had a routine dr appt last night and they weighed me and it was more than my scale said  She said it was probably hormonal and linked to my visit there in the first place.
I did however measure myself this morning and even though my scale says I am the same as last week I have lost some inches
B - 2 x digestive biscuits and cup of tea (feel a bit bleurgh atm)
L - jacket potato and 1 TSP chicken tikka sandwich filler
S - we are off to see Bond and having hot dogs at movie place

exercise - very little other than the normal winter routine with the horses.
Have a good day everyone0 -

LAM don't forget the time of day you're weighed makes quite a difference, the evenings usually the worst time so hopefully the difference is more in the time not the scales iyswim

Right ladies - I need your help!
I am in danger of going down the slippery slope of getting back into the habit of eating rubbish every day again.
Just realised that over the past week or so I have scoffed cakes, crisps, a bag of revels, a bag of raspberry ruffles and way too many unnecessary bits and pieces.
Last week I managed to stay the same - probably only through being really busy at work and doing some (not loads) exercise.
That will not happen this week if I carry on.
I don't know why I've gone food bonkers all of a sudden - I think it may be that I'm so close to where I want to be and I'm the lowest weight I've been in about 20 years and now I've relaxed. I really don't want to pile the pounds back on so it stops TODAY!
I went on a night time organised walk last night - driving rain, pitch black and windy on teh top of a mountain but it was oddly quite good fun (and quite hard work). Then came home and finished off the bag of raspberry ruffles and had two pieces of toast:o
There are no more naughties left in the house so I can start again today.
I haven't planned food yet for the day (actually had a lie in this morning) but it will have to be from what I have in as I don't want to tempt myself in a shop yet again.
Right, sorry for the confession but I feel better now!0 -
WW- Im really really struggling too
I think it because I dont really NEED to lose anymore weight I just want to hence my clothes fit and I look alright etc
However it is a slippery slope and it wont take long to put on half a stoneand then i would be fed up again!!
All we can do is try and keep posting/confessing- im sure the weather/dark doesnt help- its such an effort to do anything in the cold and dark
Today:
B: 2 boiled eggs 2 wm toast butter
S: banana, 2 x choc eclair sweets 1 mini wham bar
L: hm beef casserole 1 x bread, grapes
S: apple 2 x satsumas
T: sausage and mash with onion gravy!
Hardly slimmer of the year reading is it :rotfl:
Go swimming tonight- I MUST GO, I WILL GO!!!!!O/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)0
