Looking forward to getting to know people
Been thinking about the exercise thing for you and I bought this DVD for my sister who has cerebral palsy and balance issues so can't do conventional exercise

Maybe this type of thing is something that you could try?0 -

L: chicken salad, 2 x satsumas
S: apple

I thought that the Shred was my magic bullet in terms of exercise - only 20 minutes but feels like its really doing something. Only at some point on holiday I've done something to my ankle. Don't know if it's a sprain or a bruise or what but jumping jacks and skipping are definitely not a good plan - tried it once and made the ankle problem 10x worse. So back to square 1 with finding a form of exercise that I can keep up while figuring out what's wrong with my ankle and getting it fixed.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Its never easy is it. Just when I conquer one excuse, another one throws itself into my path.

Afternoon All
Another busy day for me today as I'm doing extra at work today and tomorrow. I start at 2 today and finish at 8. I've already been to Pilates and taken the family out for lunch.
B: 2 boiled eggs mashed with salt, pepper and butter.
L: Braised steak with carrots, peas, cabbage and green beans, shared with DGD. When I got home, HM chocolate mousse for dessert.
T: (Pack up for work) Ham and garlic cream cheese rolls with salad - HG leaves, mushroom, cucumber, tomato, beetroot, mixed seeds and coleslaw.
Exercise: 1 hour Pilates. About 3 miles of walking to and fro.

ETA: Just had half a small bar of dark chocolate when I got in from work with my coffee too.Weight Loss Challenge 5/7/19 10st 6lbs

Rose that looks really good. I've not had salad as such this year, too cold so it's been mostly hot food til now, but think I'll be including some bits in my next shop because your pack up looks so appetising0

Rose that looks amazing with all the lovely seeds. Did you just tear strips of ham and wrap around garlic flavoured Philly?0

Wow- how well are we doing in the medal tally! Everywhere I was turning it was all gloom about the 'obesity epidemic' and how we need to turn things around before we're all doomed! It's really inspiring to see that we're not just doomed to fail, especially given we must have the biggest medal tally per capita compared to the others. :T Well done team GB!
My day:
B: toast with spread, 1 kiwi
L: ham salad roll, 2 applesStew and corn on the cob - had a bit more stew left over than I thought, but for once didn't force myself to clear my plate of the waste :T
S: 8 (I think) Ritz crackers, possibly a slice of bread later if I get peckish
E: walking to/from buses is as far as I got today, my legs still hurt! Different muscles today though.0 -

Just back in from work. Thanks for the comments about the pack up. I cut the ham into strips, spread it with the cheese (actually from Lidl so much cheaper than Philly) and roll it up. The seeds are a pack of Omega 3 sprinkle from Holland and Barrets which I bought to try and are really nice. The salad leaves were various lettuces from a living salad (again from Lidl) that I planted out in the garden ages ago, plus beetroot and spinach. I also added a few tiny onions and snipped the stalks up for good measure that I thinned out. We've only got a small garden - just a patio with a raised bed and a few pots but it's amazing what you can grow. I eat far more salad and vegetables since we started growing our own 2 years ago. Last year I kept a list and I managed to eat something home grown every day from July to the end of September. Here's a picture of the garden taken last August. We've got slightly different things growing this year but it gives an idea of the size.
