Good evening
. Hope you're all having a pleasant weekend.
Not had a disasterous weekend but as always, I definitely relax things.
Yesterday was:
porridge with fruit
Chicken, avocado and tarragon salad with one part baked roll ( had lunch at a friends and I took dessert) I took a fantastic, even if I do say so myself, fruit salad with fat free yogurt :A
Dinner was chicken breast, wrapped in bacon with oven chips and salad.
I also had 3 large glasses of redwell, it was a momentous sporting day
Today has been
2 x burgen toast with lurpak lightest and marmite
Chicken noodle and sweet corn soup with fruit salad and yogurt
1/3 pizza express ( from tesco) pizza with salad, olives and a couple of glasses of red.
I have resisted a Chinese takeaway for 2 days and resisted sweets with the kids at the cinema so not too bad. I may have a square of chocolate later on.
Vix x- prior planning prevents poor performance!
May Grocery challenge £150 136/1500 -
Resisted the chip shop and had some oven chips instead - can't remember the last time I had chips.
Have had a bath and am already stiff - won't be able to put my knickers on tomorrow:rotfl:
I was planning to go swimming tomorrow but will see if my body feels like it.
Will go mad and have a little treat later if I still fancy one (or feel I deserve one) after some strawberries.0 -
WelshWoofer, now you're just showing off
. Brilliant job :T I was with you every step of the way from my couch
. Had a giggle at you going commando tomorrow
Mint well done you too :j you make me feel like a sloth for not even going to the gym for a few days. I can't get rid of my flabby tummy, after losing 3 stones it's the only part that won't shift, and, so I've heard, apparently the only part one can't shift. I'll just have to buy a lacey-uppy corset!
Rose how do you manage to eat a teasp of peanut butter? If I dared buy a jar it would all be gone in less than a week
Been moving furniture from the lounge to the kitchen all afternoon, I'm just about finished and jiggered. I didn't realise how much there is, definitely time to have another sort out. Not all of it will be going back when the room's decorated
Time for more cheering and encouraging of Team GB from my couch, sleep tight0 -
Well, today I feel like I've been run over by a bus - everything aches! I'm hoping it will all loosen up as I walk the dog in a minute - it will be a very slow plod though. Don't think that strenuous exercise will be on the cards today.:o
I think I'm a bit premenstrual too - feel a bit bloated and "booby". Just have to try to not eat the whole house today:rotfl:
Will report back later with food - have a skinny Monday.0 -

That's a very good sign though! Aches means your muscles are developing. I can barely bend my knees to walk down the stairs after I've had a good session in the gym! Good idea to prevent them becoming too stiff by going for a gentle-brisk walk.0 -

Me too, had a crap weekend and start to Monday due to my partner returning from holiday and him distracting me/making me eat the same food as him/having lazy cuddles in bed all day.:( Very happy to have him back but my weight will probably disagree. Must. Stay. Focussed!:)0 -
Afternoon all
As predicted I didn't manage to get on much over the weekend as we were so busy. Didn't stop me from eating everything in sight in between jobs and naps!
Today:
Breakfast: yoghurt, nectarine. When I peeled open my babybel it was all mouldy inside, gross
Snack: mr kipling cake bar
Lunch: ham sandwich, apple, plum
Snack: mini pepperami, 2 digestives, 1/2 pint SS milk
Dinner: undecided atm, maybe pasta with pancetta, peppers and some sort of sauce. Got pilates so it needs to be quick
Exercise: pilatesLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
:eek::eek::eek:
After talking to my sister (who has quite severe cerebral palsy) , I've taken leave of my senses and only gone and volunteered and registered for a 10K run in early March to help raise money for the adult disabilities centre she attends.
The place provides water therapy, reiki, massage etc for adults with disabilities and those going through cancer treatment etc. Its also a social meeting place and a really fab resource for those that use it.
Its all funded by donations and is always in need of more cash. She was telling me about a woman who was doing a sponsored slim for them so I blurted out I'd do a run:eek:
The most obvious one was the St Davids Day 10K in Cardiff on March 2nd and before I knew what I was saying I'd agreed, registered and now here I am barely being able to run 4K with 6 months to go.:rotfl:
I know that now I've said I'll do it I won't let them down so it will give me some focus to keep on running.
Feeling much better now I've been for a walk, think the legs will be ready for a trot tomorrow, better had be.......0
