HI WanttobeSE, welcome to the thread. Do you want to join the challenge? We've got 10 weeks left (only just started).

I relax a bit on the carbs at weekends, had another slice of my HM bread toasted this morning, and some of the kids leftover chocolate porridge.

Lunch was bacon, peppers, onions and feta.
Snack - chocolate stuff I made yesterday with peanut butter mixed in!
Dinner - something mince based, maybe lasagne (made with courgette not pasta for me, no aubergines)

I have to say I am really enjoying the low carb/sugar approach. I am never hungry, can eat as much cheese/meat/butter as I like (within reason!) and it's making me feel pretty good. Also, I have lost 5lbs since I started (and not done any exercise for ages, oops). I will still have the odd potato and HM bread if it's around but really realising I am not missing much, pasta is bland and stodgy and shop bread is pretty gross! I like my meals with extra veggies, missing a few fruits but once I have lost what I need to I will go back to eating whatever fruit I want. I just don't want the sweet fruits to set off my sugar cravings so I am staying away for now.

Low carb/sugar is meant to be especially good for people with certain health problems and thyroid disorders are one of them so added bonus there.

Hi WantToBeSE! Welcome to the thread!

What a lovely sunny day here! I had made an appointment with the couch today after a hectic week, but may need to wander outside and take in some sunshine while it's there!

1st B: 2 krisprolls with LF cream cheese
E: Bokwa and 1hr on gym equipment
2nd B: cereal and LF yoghurt
    L: Mugshot

Plan for the rest of the day:
D: Pasta with veggie passata sauce (will have a bit of parmesan on it)
S: small bowl of ice cream, and there's bananas and carrots if I get hungry

Morning all, (well tis til I've had my very late lunch!),welcome WantToBeSE :)

B - Got up late and had to rush out. I know I said I wouldn't miss brekkie again but I did and learned my lesson - see Exercise
L - 2 crackerbread, one with rf garlic & herb cheese spread, one with Vegemite -shopped in Mr S, they had a big pot of Vegemite. What a relief, I'm on the 'hate it' side of marmite. Apple
D - Veggie moussaka with aubergine, courgette, red onion, sun dried tomato, grated carrot, red pepper. Made the sauce with ff yogurt, rf cheese and an egg. Smells pretty good!
S - melon, nana, orange, plums
E - 45 mins gym, should have eaten as I felt really light-headed. Slap on the wrist for Sparrer :(. Mowed lawn, brushed my very long coated muttley who's leaking lumps of hair everywhere!

Enjoy the day hope it's as warm for you as it is here. Innit lovely?! :)
