We have a front and a back garden but we can't put anything in them as the area we live in is the kind where things get stolen/broken just for the fun of it :-(.
My fianc!e wanted to fence off a section of the back garden and have a little vegetable patch, whether or not it would be a good idea in this area is another matter, that and we have a lot of neighbourhood cats as well as our own wandering the gardens.
Just wondering, can you freeze HM soup?? I might make some next time I do the shopping and freeze some if I can as well as putting some in the fridge.
So far today is going ok food wise.
All I've had so far is:
3 1/2 slices of Marmite on toast.
1 glass of orange & diet lemonade (with a lot of ice).
1 small bottle (very small!) of diet cola.
:-D no idea what is for dinner tonight yet though...Total Weight Loss Progress = -17lbs

You most certainly can. I normally make a batch to cover my work lunches for the week, and freeze the rest. I have around 4 portions of some veg soup I made a while ago still in my freezer that are good for 'emergency' lunches or dinners, when I can be bothered to cook.
I normally leave it in the fridge overnight to defrost, but I'm sure you can defrost it in the microwave too.0 -

Congratulations SlowlyFading!
The biscuits found me... in fact, the mini Party Rings found me...
but it's ok, I won't let it ruin the rest of my day. I always get a hunger around 4pm I must plan for it next time...
Have added the 30 day shred to my signature, to keep track and remind myself to do it. I will never finish the 30 days but it may keep me going longer than otherwise!munchiesandmunchkins wrote: »What is hm soup?June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Congratulations SlowlyFading.
Watermelon88 - We eat very well and healthily on between £140 and £180 per month - which is DH and myself and then DS, DDiL and DGD at least once a week and often more plus visitors. I always cook from scratch too. We live in a village with just a Co-Op and a Budgens which are both very expensive but we stock up at Lidl (22 miles away) if we are going into the city or Tesco (5 miles away) if I am going swimming to our nearest little town. I use money off vouchers when I can and always look in the reduced section.
