    Good Morning.
Im in a similar situation to Dragon. I think it must be a combination of the side-effects of my meds, increased food consumption (but not excessive) and minimal exercise) due to ill health. I need to get this under control this week as Im on my holidays the first week in July.

Hope you all have a good day x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Morning All

Persisting down here . Let kitten out very early as usual, and came back down a couple of hours later to find a living room full of feathers. Poor bird! It's the part of cats' behaviour I hate. Luckily, it doesn't happen often with my two.

Today's plan is subject to change as I'm off to the hairdressers soon (can finally take that bag off my head :rotfl:), and Waitflower is just across the road. Now I LOVE shopping in Waitflower..:o;):p. Let's see what bargains I find that just HAVE to be incorporated into today's plan...

    So -

Brekkie - Hm bread (toast), lo baked beans from earlier in the week and a boiled egg. Twas lush!! :)

Lunch - Have defrosted some mushroom pate and some ciabatta...need to keep working through the freezer and this pate has been there since I didn't eat it at Christmas!

Dinner - have defrosted beef skirt, and will probably do a stir fry and noodles later on.

Well, better go and get dressed. Enjoy your Saturdays :T

Have added the 30 day shred to my signature, to keep track and remind myself to do it. I will never finish the 30 days but it may keep me going longer than otherwise!

Good idea - I'll do that too! I've missed 2 days now so will put it in my signature and shame myself into doing it today.
I've weighed and have lost the grand total of 1lb :o

I'm hoping that the exercise has gained muscle and a little bit of water retention around the muscles but the main culprit is food - lots of room for improvement there - too many snacks and naughties. I'm going shopping this morning so will stock up on good stuff and try harder!

Back from Mr T and have a ton of fruit to nibble on. One of my biggest downfalls is crisps so I've tried the Velvet Crunch things as an alternative. Just had a trial packet (just one, good for me!) and they're very nice and only 80 cals. If I can keep to one pack every now and then they may be a good substitute.

    Food today ...
Breakfast - none, didn't fancy any
Lunch - bagel with very low fat cheese spread, satsuma, packet of Velvet Crunch
Tea - lentil dahl and basmati rice

Snacks available if I need them - rasps, strawbs, grapes, satsumas, apples, bananas.

I really tried hard in the supermarket to be good and buy only diet friendly stuff - took me ages, was there for over an hour:eek:

    Afternoon all :-D

I don't have a meal plan for today, I'm just deciding as I go along!

Breakfast was: Porridge & Glass Orange Juice :-)

I'll do L and D later on after they're done.

I was naughty last night and had some cookies and cream ice cream (only about two scoops though), and some cream crackers with soft cheese on them :-(.

...oh and two triangles of a toblerone bar, but I gave the rest to my fiancee and told him to eat it so I wouldn't lol.

I was over my calorie count for the day but not by too much so it should be ok :-)

I was double naughty in the fact that I shouldn't be having ice cream or chocolate as I am a diabetic (still very new so getting used to cutting sweet stuff out!).

Wish me luck for today :-) and good luck to every one else :-)

    Afternoon All

It's horrendous weather here - grey, dismal and pouring with rain. I did get out for a run earlier though.

B: Grapefruit segments in light syrup. Small piece of HM bread toasted with raspberry jam and butter.
L: HM pancake stuffed with spinach, mushrooms, onion and garlic and topped with cream cheese. Iced raspberry smoothie.
T: (Pack up for work) Home baked roll filled with mashed hardboiled egg. Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
Snack: 1/2 small bar of dark chocolate.

Exercise: 4km run (27min 24 sec is the time to improve on now!). Maybe a walk to work if it stops raining so heavily, otherwise I am sure DH will insist on running me there.

Well I started today off at the gym, zumba then 30 minutes on various gym machines, came home, walked to the city centre (2 miles), spent about 2 hours walking around shops, and walked home again.

Undid all that good exercise with lots of food though, lots of food needing used up, meaning I ate a bit more than I needed, as I hate throwing food out!
Pre-gym breakfast: 2 ryvita + reduced sugar jam
Post-gym Breakfast: muesli + fat free yoghurt
Lunch: beans on toast and 4 falafel (everything needing used up)
Dinner: 3 small fajita wraps loaded with salad

I also had a snack of a bar of white chocolate, because I've been craving it for days. Bought a new 10 min solutions dvd today which I will use to burn that off tonigh.

Bonus for the day was that I tried on a skirt 1 size smaller than usual and managed to zip it up. Granted it was still so tight, I had to waddle instead of walk:rotfl:I bought it as my new goal to wear to work by next month.

    Last two meals for today.

L - Tomato Soup with 2 slices brown bread (no butter)

D - Stuffing, Chips & Gravy (small portion)

    Dessert - 2 scoops ice cream :)

Still way under my calories for today so even with the chips (oven) and ice cream I haven't ruined my diet :-D

    Breakfast - porridge
Dinner - at a convention was probably the best ploughmans I've ever had, 2 thick slices of real ham, huge slice good, strong Cheddar, silverskins, Tom Thumbs, greenery including celery, cucumber and gherkins, creamy coleslaw, pickle, half a super-fresh baguette and a chunk of butter. I tried to resist the bread but it was so good!

Then they brought out the carrot cake, coffee walnut cake, angel cake, chocolate gateaux and fresh fruit salad. Sorry fruit salad, there was just no contest against the coffee walnut cake :o

    T - I couldn't !!
