Morning all, I think a few treats snuck in yesterday but still a huge improvement on last week. Having a big lunch and small dinner seemed to work well, I didn't get the 3/4pm hunger/snack binge. I have tried making my lunch small but then I get hungry and snack so I reckon I should be using my calories on meals rather than snacking...
I have been up since 5am, just taking a break from shampooing the poo out of the carpet (oh the joys of motherhood!). Have had a bowl of porridge with banana and two small slices of toast already but I felt I needed them!
Sharonr - I know how you feel! Though I don't expect you actually gained 3lb in a week, I'm sure one or two will have gone by next weigh in (you'd have to overeat by 1500cal a day to really gain 3lb in a week!).
ETA - just checked my list and I had you at 5/8lbs on the last challenge? Was that wrong?
Lunch will be LO chicken soup and dinner will be thai red curry made with beef, with rice.June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Mornin' all
Although I'm not starting the challenge until Friday I thought I'd cut down for a few days to get me in the right mindset.
So
Breakfast : Fruit salad (Grapes, clementines and a slice of pineapple) with LF plain yoghurt
Lunch: HM Pea and Mint soup, Banana
Mid afternoon: Two Rich Tea biscuits
Evening meal : HM Pork casserole, broccoli and carrots
Mid evening: Two Jaffa cakes
Additional to this is half a pint of skimmed milk for drinks.
Exercise: This depends on whether its raining or not when I get home ! If not then I'll go on a short walk.
Actually exercise is my downfall. I hate it with a passion !!!

Certainly wasn't one of my best days, no problems with breakfast and lunch being same as yesterday. It all went wrong at the after work function, where there was a constant stream of tempting canapes and scrummy bitesized cakey things. I could have easily eaten heaps but did manage to reign myself in a good deal and limited my consumption, whilst those around me tucked in.:A
However, it's hard to define them properly on Myfitnesspal and it's looking like a good 500 to 600 calories I could have done without.
I tried to redeem myself a little with a bit of a walk but rain stopped play. Hey ho, it could have been a lot worse I suppose and tomorrow is another day.Mortgage

Hello all can I please please join in ?? I have noticed that after being really good and losing nearly 4 stone (by eating no junk and exercising) a stone has crept back on since christmas ! I need to get back on track but am finding it really difficult on my own. So I would like to lose 14 llbs in 14 weeks. I think it will help posting on here what I eat - I have just resisted giant buttonsJBFF # 20 NSD 12/25

Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of weeks. Was on holiday which was lovely but unfortunately meant I put on 3lbs
So my final loss for the easter challenge was only 7lbs.
Thanks again Ragz for organising another challenge! Can you put me down for a more realistic 10lbs this time. I will not weigh in until next fri though (20th) as I'm only just back and need to get back into the swing of things.
Hope you're all well xx0 -

I'm terrible at snacking as soon as I get in from work around 6pm...I'm pretty good during the day as I try to space out my lunch with lots of mini snacks, but when I get home I just leap at the fridge! I keep cottage cheese, celery/carrot sticks etc in there. But I agree a small dinner often works best.I have been up since 5am, just taking a break from shampooing the poo out of the carpet (oh the joys of motherhood!).
Blimey!
My food for today:
B: Apple and 5 almonds
L: HM tuna and sweetcorn salad with toms, cucumber, watercress & lettuce with low cal Thai dressingWhite fish with ratatouille and some new potatoes
S: Salt & vinegar Snack a Jacks, small handful of mixed nuts, possibly some leftover easter egg.0 -
Hi all
Back from Rome and although I'm not starting the challenge til Friday I'm going to get back into the habit of listing my daily menu's. I did try to weigh this morning but typically the battery in my scales had run out so had to spend £4 on a new pair (only needed one, why do they do that?) which is just adding to the pain of not knowing what I'm up against since my 'Roman Holiday'! So -
B slept through it
L - 2 slices WW Danish with yogurt, 1 slice lean beef, little horseradish. Hc bun with rf clover. Didn't get any hc buns while we were away so bought a pack today and will have one a day as my treat until they're gone.
D - Chicken/tomato casserole, 1/2 pitta bread
Snacks - banana, grapes, melon
Exercise - 15 mins this morning, another 15 mins to do this evening
Enjoy the rest of the day0 -
Afternoon
Won't be weighing in till a week this Friday to start off with as haven't really got started yet and will do my start weight this weekend.
Have had some new that OH's work are reducing the workforce by 25% over the next few months (redundancies) so going through all that mess with not knowing what's happening etc, so my appetite is either nothing atm or full on snacking till I get my head sorted. Hopefully more of the firstso not much harm will be done.
Will get back to posting what I have every day too from then . Just not motivated yet.
Hope you are all doing better than me atm. Gotta look on the bright side
DC xx0
