Morning all
LavenderBees you're soft!. I'd do exactly the same though, can't resist the waifs, strays and unloved. I'm sure in a week of so they'll all have settled down to live with (tolerate) each other
LittleMoog brave you going to MK. I just did Ikea a few weeks ago and it wore me out so goodness knows I can understand you and the sproglet being zonked out! Hope DH spoils you with a yummy dinner.
Just did a sneak wi and still 9st 7lb, hoped I'd lose at least 1/2 a lb but it was only Friday we did the last wi. Read your post ragz and searched everywhere for the paper I wrote my last measurements on, so have nothing to compare with. Will keep looking, meanwhile todays goes like this -
Upper arm was 12" now 11.5"
Bust was 40" now 37"
Chest was 36" now 34.5"
Waist was 37" now 29.5" !!!
Hips was 41" now 39.5"
Thighs was 21.5" now 19"
Calf was 14" now 13"
What a strange shape :rotfl:. Still got quite a lot of back to lose (know of any exercises, anyone?), but nice to have my legs back, they were always my best asset.
My next challenge will be 8lb please ragz.
Back to today -
B - boiled egg, 2 crackerbread
D - grilled sausage, tomato, mushrooms, dry-fried egg (wish I hadn't bought a dozen but they're so lovely from the lady in the house in the next village where her chooks roam free in her front garden)
T - 3 crackerbread/ff yogurt, 1/prawn, 1xmarmalade, 1xplain. Run out of Vegemite
Off on me hols at sparrowfart tomorrow, so have a wonderful Easter everyone, will miss you and the posts and will try not to eat too much pasta/pizza and other Italian yummies in the next week
Take care0 -

Unfortunately it was necessary, it's the only Bravissimo shop in the region and I needed to be properly fitted for new bras - went to Debenhams in Bedford a few weeks ago and they tried to get me to wear a 42D! I'm a 36FF normally  Now properly fitted with a bit of growing space, and only gone up to a 38G (which I'm still wearing on the tightest hooks so I can expand it as my ribs do!)
It was exhausting though, it was absolutely heaving and all the shops I wanted to go to were so far apart (for anyone that doesn't know MK, it's the longest shopping centre in the world, takes me about 20 mins to walk from one end to the other and I always seem to end up going up and down a few times! :rotfl:) We have to go again next weekend as DH needs to get a few bits and the shops in Bedford are so woeful. Think I'll make him buy me lunch so I can get a sit down though :rotfl:Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Hello,
I've been lurking for a while now and I'm interested in joining the next challenge.
I have so far lost over 2 stone so I'm now down to 14 stone and I have several inches off my waist and hips.
I do three days of weightlifting and 3-4 days of cardio (running). I eat about 1600 calories a day and I'm consistently losing 2lbs a week except for when its TOTM.
I think I'd like to lose about 14lbs by July for the next challenged.
At least I think the next challenge runs until July?0 -
Evening All,
I've just got back in from work. It's been another erratic day of eating - I don't know where my will power seems to have gone. You are right RAGZ the last few pounds do seem the hardest - trouble is I am putting it on just lately not taking it off. Part of it is overconfidence I think - assuming because I am running and exercising such a lot, I can eat more. At this rate it's not the last few pounds - it's nearly a stone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
B: Cornflakes - with a dash of single cream added to the skimmed milk.
L: Chicken roll, Rice pudding
T: Tomato soup and roll. Last of the chicken, more rice pudding!
Snack: Cadbury's fudge. Coffee milk shake type thingy.
Exercise: Walk of about 3 miles to where I started my run from, 4K run (which I managed in 25 minutes which is what I was aiming for), walk to work and back, and walk to the shops so another 2 miles in total.

I have just found my old measurements from January. My new measurements are -
Bust - 40'' [the same]
Waist -33'' [lost 1'']
hips - 38'' [lost 2'']
Obviously from that I am a little bit top heavy, as I always have been. Plus I don't really ever get that nice waist - hip difference that is so important for good health. For every inch I lose off my waist I also lose one [or two] from my hips. I suppose we can't really alter our basic body shape but just make the best of it.
Have we got one more weigh in for this challenge? If so I will wait to see if I have lost any more [unlikely]before I set my new target.
Sorry, have just read Ragz's post. One more week to go for this challenge, so will wait and see.0 -
Morning Everyone
I've just got measured and have added a few inches since my lightest - mainly on my tummy. I kept a list of measurements until about November when I stopped and that's when the weight has crept back on so I need to start again I think. I've got the measurements also from when I started back in January 2011 so can show the difference.
Now (Jan 2011) all measurements in inches
Bust: 34 (38)
Waist: 30 (34.5)
Tummy: 35 (40)
Hips: 36.5 (40)
Looking at the current measurements it's no wonder some of my trousers are feeling tight as I'd got down to 28" waist and 34" hips when I was 8st 12. Like many of you I never seem to get much of a waist however slim I am

Morning ladies
Today's meals:
BReakfast: granola bar
Snack: babybel
Lunch: sandwich from canteen, yoghurt, satsumas
Snack: biscuit, fruit
Dinner: undecided
I've developed a bit of an aversion to looking in our fridge, there was a bad smell last week and ever since then every time I open the door I feel sick! It's getting a bit ridiculous, DH gave it a good scrub out yesterday, so hope i'll be better tonight
Struggling to decide what to eat as well, don't really fancy much. Plus I was sick twice yesterday, after breakfast and dinner, so woke up starving in the night and had to eat some biscuits (only thing I had to hand!)Am changing my meals around a bit, hopefully today will be better. I'm already 8 weeks, so fingers crossed I'll only have a few more weeks of sickness

Good morning,
wet here but no snow yet, expecting that this afternoon. Pusscat introductions are going quite well so far......lots of grumblings and swishy tails from new boy, but mostly just curiosity from "my two". No real agression, so far, thank goodness.
Yesterday's plan came a bit awry as I hadn't intended to have lunch, but I was starving after my walk, so had salad with a handful of crisps, blue cheese and coleslaw. Delish but not particluarly "good". Then I had a handful of fudge....
Ah well, today's plan -
Brekkie (hopefully soon as I'm starving!) - poached egg/beans/toast
Lunch - probably similar to yesterday, though I may make the lentil & sweet potato pate later.
Dinner - Another roast chicken & veges (I love my sunday lunches that last all week)
Exercise - none today as have decided to stay at home. The pusses are all on the wander together (yesterday, they were mostly separated) & I believe the more supervised exposure they have to each other and their scents, the quicker they'll get used to each other. It's working so far :T
Treats - hmmm...will try to restrict to a small drink/small amount of sweet stuff in front of the fire later.
Have a lovely day everyone.
LB xx0 -
I will try to eat better today than yesterday, it won't be hard, yesterday was awful! Missed my swim as kids were being awful and DH didn't seem in the mood to cope with them, so I didn't go out.
Breakfast was homemade bread toasted, with various toppings. No idea about lunch and dinner, my meal plan has gone to pot again and it's a kids swimming night which means dinner will be just me and DH, I was going to do a chicken and leek soup but have no leeks! Oooh, may do a quiche actually... with baked beans!June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Ho..Ho..Ho – I hate the snow = my poor little garden patch has now got a snowy duvet on it; luckily I moved the more vulnerable seedlings into the mini greenhouse yesterday. Would you believe it Aboyne which is about 30mins drive away had record temperatures last week, now has about 6 inches of snow
LavenderBees, Just a word of warning, I made the full quantity (serves 4) of lentil & sweet potato pate, but was becoming a bit too fond of eating it so stuck two portions in the freezer.
Ragz – I will search out my measurements and post the difference at the end of the week, I feel I have shifted some cms cause my trousers fit much more comfortably but my legs and arms feel thinner and I didn’t really want to lose any from there; just makes my torso look bigger
Sparrer – WOW the inches are dropping off you :T, sounds like a proper woman’s figure to me very much Marilyn Munro
Had to change my menu plan yesterday as I forgot to take the chicken out of the freezer and having L/O’s today.
B – Fresh Pineapple, yoghurt
L – Mung Bean Soup
D – Spanish Rice (prawns & chorizo)Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Grocery spends = £119.54
Aug - Grocery spends = £42.190
