Morning all, and welcome magical :)
Rose Wood you made me smile re the poached egg on toast, sometimes something just hits the spot and you need more :)
ragz/LavenderBees when this recession started to hit hard I bought lots of bread flour - then joined the thread. I still have it in the cupboard and some days it's oh, so tempting to get the bm out and make a loaf, but I've promised myself no more than a couple of slices a week, if that, and it must be Danish. But some days, when I read about others making it, I want real bread so much!! (and know I'll eat the lot if I make it :o)

    B - spicy, fruity porridge
D - pork fillet, green beans, small jacket. Apple
    T - F&F, ss milk
Snacks - pear, kiwi, melon, banana
Exercise - 15 mins this morning, more through the day

Have a super, sunny 1st of April, hope it last through the month :)

Morning All, it’s a cold wet morning here so no more gardening for me, exercise will have to be doing the housework, a good old clean required after trailing cut grass & earth in on my feet.

Meals yesterday were a bit of a hotch-potch using up all the odds and ends that were lurking in the fridge.

    Today’s meals
B – Toast, sliced ham & grilled tomatoes
L – Soup – (yet to decide what I’m making)
    D – Spanish Rice (prawns & chorizo)
    Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
    July - Grocery spends = £119.54
    Aug - Grocery spends = £42.19

    Morning, all

Looks a bit grey and damp here at the moment. Yesterday was a gorgeous day, and I thoroughly enjoyed my walk. Strangely, I'm less inclined to exercise when the weather isn't glorious...wonder why?! :rotfl:I must just wrap up and get out again. I know I'll enjoy it once I'm out.

I acquired a new pusscat unexpectedly yesterday - a colleague had only had him for a few days but couldn't cope with her young son and the cat together, so I did a "mercy run" to get the cat. We've had a bit of ructions as expected with the new cat not at all happy at such bad disruption. Poor soul looks positively depressed, so he's in the spare room and I keep going in to visit, but he's not at all used to other cats, so hated my two on sight. They are just completely perplexed at a hissing furball being introduced. It'll all take time to settle, I guess. I'm trying to keep up the normal routine for the old-boy and kitten. I suspect this is all going to take a fair amount of my energy this week :o. It's a good thing I'm off work!

    Anyway, enough waffle :) - Today's plan is -

    Brekkie - Beans on toast
    Lunch - none
Dinner - lo (smaller portion than yesterday) roast chicken, veges

Exercise - better get a good walk in (will try for the 10 miler again) as it's forecast for SNOW tomorrow for us. Oh, enough! That's just ridiculous after last week's high temperatures.

Treats - I resorted to an unplanned stress drink last night so no treats today

Wish me luck with new boy :o

    LB xx

Morning all, I won't mention what I ate over the weekend, and it's Easter Hols now so I am not holding much hope for this week, as long as I don't gain I will be happy.

Lavenderbees - good luck with the cats!
Magical - welcome to the thread.

My target for the next challenge will be 5lb (or however many pounds I am over 11 stone when this challenge ends). I 'should' be able to manage that, but as Rosewood and I keep proving, the last little bit is the hardest! I may find that I am still too wobbly at 11 stone and aim a little lower once I reach that, but I can see that is going to take a while so I'll stick with my 11 stone aim for now (I am 5'11).

Measurements - I may dig out the measuring tape and take my measurements, see how they differ (if at all) to the ones I took at the beginning... (mine are on page 15 so any one else who posted them will be on/after that)

ETA - here we go then...
    Mine are -
    Upper arm - 31cm 29cm
    Bust - 100cm 96cm
    Chest - 85cm 83cm
Waist - 99cm 97cm (over belly button and fully relaxed :o, 85cm 80cm at narrowest point)
Hips - 107cm 100cm (widest point, over jeans)
Thighs - 62cm 61cm (highest point, over jeans)
    Calf - 36cm 37cm (widest point)

Calf size seems to have gone up, perhaps that's muscle! Over all I have lost 23cm from everywhere else, which is pretty good. Not sure how accurate some of them are, but considering I have only lost 5lbs I am glad to see it is making a difference, even if only a small one.

Notice I use centimeters not inches are there are more of them to lose! 9 inches doesn't sound as impressive!

    Good morning all,

I have been gardening the last couple of days so not posted but have been good.

For my weigh in yesterday I have lost another4 lbs so that is a total of 19 lbs since January. :j:j

Today I plan to have -

    B - Banana.
L - 3 crackerbread with tuna and tomato.
T - Baked potato, 2 sausage and baked beans.
    S - Fruit only - I hope. :)

E - Has been very lacking this last month so I will be stepping it up a notch. Today we will be walking the dog and trying out a dance dvd which has been hidden away for the last six months.

Thanks to everyone for the thread and Ragz for running it.

No hun, challenge ends this Friday, then declare your total for the next one and I will start a new list ready for the following week when you can either start or declare your first loss if you're been good over easter!

I will explain better nearer the time.
