    Hi everyone
Sorry, have been missing in action with a mad week! For the 3rd week I'm reporting a STS I can't even pretend it's a plateau, it's more a case of eating like a pig at the weekend and damage limitation though the week.
Hoping for a loss next week, have no nights out or meals out planned this week.
    Fingers crossed xx

    Morning, everyone.

I'm definitely finding I'm more focused by reporting in online, so wil continue to do so. Well, I'm declaring a further 1lb loss today. Yesterday I thought it looked like I'd lost 2lbs this week, but today it's absolutely certain, so can I have another smiley face, please? :j

Very happy with that as all the hard work has paid off, and I feel like I'm back on track again. Got to keep it going though :o

So, today, my eating plan is -

Brekkie - boiled egg & hm bread (my Saturday treat :))
Lunch - should finish the final portion of hm soup before it goes off but really don't fancy it...but it will stop me snacking...
Dinner - Really enjoyed my salad last night, so hm pizza (tin of artichokes needs using) and salad

Exercise - didn't sleep well at all last night as my brain is still whirring, but hoping to get motivated enough to do some light housework, and take a walk (naturally as I'm off it's raining, so hope it clears later to motivate me to get out).

Treats - avoiding chocolate at the moment as I can't just eat a small bit, have to demolish the lot, so maybe a small drink later with my pizza.

Enjoy your Saturday everyone. I'm going to avoid the carp news, and think positive thoughts. I might even celebrate my time off and have a dance to music whilst houseworking - haven't done that for years, it feels like :rotfl:

MOrning all. I'm trying to have a new start this week by changing my 'comfort foods' to healthier treats. I've tried to drop comfort foods altogether but as soon as I don't manage to exercise, my willpower fades and I'm back on them. I injured a tendon in my ankle this week so exercise has been difficult and Viola: chocolate and crisps were back by my side in the evenings. :(

I'm aiming to transfer my cravings to fresh juices and luxury fruits, still fairly calorie dense but less so than crisps and sweets as well as being far better for my body in general.

I'm also going to try keeping in mind how unhappy I am with the weight I'm carrying around, and how much better I'd feel in myself if I could shed some of it. I really hate feeling so unfit and I miss being able to exercise like I could when I was slimmer. It seems daft to be made so unhappy by something I should be able to control. Hopefully being mindful will give me more control over my eating.

Sorry for the waffle, I hope it makes some sort of sense. :o

I should get back into walking this week too, as my sore ankle is a lot better. :T

    Food today:
    B: porridge with frozen berries
    L: toast with something
    D: HM Lasagne
    Snacks: fruit

Have a good day all. :)

    Morning All,
Brrrrr….the seasonal norm temperature has returned to NE Scotland, just when my prickly heat was starting to show itself :rotfl:. The heating will be going back on as the daytime temp is supposed to get as low as 4 degrees on Tuesday .

I have to make a 50 mile round trip today and for the past two days I have tried to top up my petrol tank but refused to join the idiots queuing at the pumps. What madness!! and this is before a strike has even been announced, I dread to think what it will be like when or if they do go on strike. I'm down to just under a quarter of a tank, so hopefully get some on route otherwise I may well be running on fumes by the time or if I get back – Cameron has a lot to answer for, as a friend said “who knitted him - cause he's unravelling" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Apologies for the rant, anyway todays menu =
    B – Boiled egg, toast
    L – Ham Salad Sandwich
D – Liver Something – haven’t had liver for ages and just took a notion for some, may coat it with oatmeal and fry it with loads of onions, yummy.

    Morning all :)

Who pinched the sunshine? Just when I have masses of laundry to do. Ah well, back to draping it all over the radiators.

    B - spicy, fruity porridge
D - turkey/veg casserole found at back of freezer when I sorted it out last night
T - prawn, tomato, yogurt wrap
    Snacks - apple, pear, kiwi
Exercise - 15 mins done, more later (when the next layer of tan is drying :o)

    Enjoy the day :)

Lunch: sandwich, handful crisps, satsumas, apple
Snack: only if I need it - babybel, grapes, glass ss milk
Dinner: tortellini with cheese sauce, purple sprouting broccoli.
snack: if i need it - ryvita, peanut butter, glass milk.

    Afternoon All

I've had a pleasant morning trawling the charity shops and picked up some playdough tools, games and jigsaws for DGD plus 3 gorgeous Next summer dresses for her. I also bought myself 2 pairs of track suit trousers, 3 t -shirts and a rather nice Wallis top. Since then I've got 2 loads of washing out on the line and packed up some soup to take to work at 4.30.

    B: Poached egg on toast
L: Poached egg on toast (yes I know I had one for breakfast too!). Greek yoghurt with HM lemon curd stirred in it.
    T: Tomato soup with bread.
    Snacks: 2 Cadbury's fudges

Exercise: Walking from free car park into town and round the shops and back so only about a mile but will also walk to work later.

    Morning!

Had a lovely walk yesterday - about 6 miles - lambs, wallabies with joeys in pouches (!), a baby rabbit let me stroke it before hopping away, heard curlews, and so many spring flowers...was lovely, and really lifted my mood.

I did have an extra piece of pizza last night, but am sure it will all even itself out

Slept like a log for 8 hours too, so feel a million times more human this morning, though have come back to bed with a cuppa as that's a big weekend treat for me :T

OK. Today's plan then is -

Brekkie - poached egg and beans on hm toast
    No lunch
Dinner - roast chicken, stuffing (yes, I know I shouldn't!) and loads of veges, baked potato

Exercise - Am going to do the 10 mile version of yesterday's walk as the sun is shining, although the cars are a bit iced up at the mo.

Happy April to you all. Make it a good'un :)
