So, not quite ready to step on the scales. But I would like to ask this lovely community of experienced slimmers for any suggestions. Thank you.

Welcome Caterina - think I'd just have a read through the first page and then dip throughout.

If you want to join the challenge then just say how much you want to lose before C* (you don't have to say how much you weigh atm but can if you want) and Knit Witch will add you to the list.

You then weigh yourself each Saturday and post your loss, or 'stayed the same' (STS) or (hopefully not) gain from the week before.

    Good Luck :D

    Today

B = Small bowl porridge with coconut oil and dried berries - not really good :(

L = Half grapefruit. Hm Shepherd's pie and baked beans. Dish of blueberries and raspberries with fat-free yoghurt.

T = Egg and cress sandwich on Hovis. Conference pear

Drinks = 4 cups of tea with semi-skimmed milk and truvia sweetener. Lots and lots of tap water. Bottle of sparkling water. 175 ml glass of red wine. One measure of brandy.

Hope you all have a thin Thursday :)

    S- seed bar
    L- protein bar

:o hangs head in shame :(

Morning folks, welcome to everyone joining.

I've had a very bad week food wise, eat, eat, eat is all I've done. I'm ashamed to admit I've eaten a six pack of crisps on one occasion. I don't know why I do this to myself?

My meals aren't too bad, but it's the in betweens that's causing me problems at the moment. Fruit just isn't cutting the mustard for me.

Problem time seems to be between lunch and dinner. I've bought some of those new Liberte yogurts to try mid afternoon to see if the extra protein helps.

With what I know about losing weight I should be a size zero, but sticking at healthy eating is a problem at the moment. I'm on anti-depressants and Omeprazole tablets for oesophagitis. Since starting the Omeprazole a few years ago my tummy constantly gurgles, pops and feels hungry.

I'm really sorry for the long rant, but I just feel frustrated with myself at the moment xxx.

    Good morning

lynnejk thanks for welcome and info, I used to be on the challenge in the past, what I meant is that I do not have the nerve to step on the scales at the moment! But will do so on Saturday first thing in the morning and report back, then will be able to enter the challenge.

    Food plan today:

    B. Arnold Bennett omelette (posh name for smoked haddock omelette with grated cheese on top). No bread - hoping to do the no bread thing for the day at least. One day at a time...

    L. Mozzarella and tomato salad, apple

    D. Aubergine lasagne (DS is cooking but I shall keep an eye to minimise the amount of lasagne, the other stuff is all ok. Salad.

Any snacks will be nuts and seeds. Got to make a fresh batch of yogurt.

    Wish me luck!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

I was looking at those. The plain one's ok but way too much sugar in the fruit ones for me. I found conference pears seem quite filling and also chocolate milk :)

    Today

B = Small bowl porridge with cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger -

L = Half grapefruit. 1/3rd tin of Baked beans on slice hovis toast. Dish of fresh blueberries with fat-free yoghurt. Glass chocolate milk

T = Cheese and marmite sandwich on hovis. Apple and conference pear.

Drinks = 4 cups of tea with semi-skimmed milk and truvia sweetener. Lots and lots of tap water. Bottle of sparkling water. 175 ml glass of red wine. One measure of brandy.

Hope you all have a fantastic Friday

    Hi everyone

I'm struggling a bit this week. I'm craving chocolate and bread and butter!
I'm still hopeful for a small loss or a STS.
I'm just having a cup of tea and browsing on mse to stop me munching.

    Have a lovely evening

Quick update, all gone to plan, but dinner was Aubergine, peppers and beans casserole in tomato sauce, with a vege sausage thrown in each. And salad. Delicious.

Positive: no bread passed my lips today

Negative: one digestive biscuit sneaked in past my lips this afternoon!

Am a bit upset because I have gained so much weight that I have gone up one size. Today in the CS I tried a few size 14 jeans and they were all too tight. Something got to be done!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Really not happy today...I've been good all week, and the last 3 days the scales have been showing one pound down, but today it is back again! So I'm a STS.

Was very keen for a loss this week, because I'm going to undo all my good work tonight, when we have a birthday dinner. For complicated reasons, I'm providing the food but having to take it to DS2s to cook it all...there will be steak pie, dessert, birthday cake....I'm not expecting a loss tomorrow :o
