Evening All
B: Poached egg on toast.
L: Steak with chips, onion rings, peas and salad garnish. Lemon Lush gateau with icecream
T: Prawn salad wrap. Banana.
Yet again I have breakfast lunch and dinner envy.DundeeDoll wrote: »Combining this with not throwing food away challenge is well challenging
 Dundee, nice to see you here!! I agree with you about the not throwing food away being a big challenge when you're trying to cut back. When faced with the dilemma of eat it or throw it, what are you supposed to do? I had to decide the fate of a packet of cadbury's Chocolate fingers yesterday. Such a tough decision but someone had to do it. :rotfl:
I fell orf my wagon big time last week and sadly not yet tried very hard to get back onto it. Had rubbish for lunch which mainly involved cheese and crackers but tried to redeem myself with yoga tonight.Mortgage

Morning all,
The diet is a bit hit and miss at the moment as I have a painful back molar and I am having a bit of a problem chewing food. I hope it settles down soon otherwise I am going to have to find a dentist or 1/2 a bottle of whisky and a pair of pliers.
I again today am not really hungry and will probably eat tonight with the kids. Roat chicken is planned but I will see how it goes. Excersise today is cleaning the house from top to bottom (just stopped for a cuppa.) The word hovel comes to mind after the kids being home for the weekend.

morning all
well, i had a slightly better weekend than last weekend but yesterday involved far too many calories
hope fully not too many to do any serious damage. i have really got to get down to it now, only 2 weeks until i've got a posh wedding to go to
sooo, the plan for today is:
porridge with skimmed milk & raisins
salad nicoise with a fat free dressing
not sure about dinner, was going to be veg chili but i'm not sure there's enough.
snacks will be fruit and maybe a ryvita or 2.
i am hoping to nip to the gym for a very quick 30 mins of cardio this aft.
enjoy your day- prior planning prevents poor performance!

Morning all
Didn't get to the vet, spoke to DD on the phone and the symptoms all point to constipation (sorry if tmi) due to change of food. Thought I was being nice buying him something a bit more expensive but seems not to agree with the mutt at all. Remedy put into operation so hoping that will be that.
B - fruity, spicy porridge
D - pasta with veggie bol
T - creackerbreads w/vegemite, cheese&pickle, marmalade
Snacks - melon, banana, pear, grapes
Exercise - 20 mins exercise, gardening
DundeeDoll I empathise, not easy to shop to please everyone. I'm lucky that there's just me now so I only buy what I know is okay. It means I haven't had pizza etc for a while but made it all worthwhile when I was in tee shirt and stretchy trousers doing my garden yesterday, and my neighbour said 'Wow, look at you, I can see the weight loss now you've taken your winter woolies off'. Love my neighbour!
Enjoy your day0 -
Afternoon all
Back from visiting my brother, fiance and nephew for the weekend. Knackered! Nephew just mastered walking so spent a lot of time running after him. He's such a cutie though :smileyhea Plus they've just booked their wedding for the end of the year :j Hopefully we'll be able to make it, our baby will be 6 weeks or so by then (if they arrive on time) so timing would be about right to visit all the relatives in Yorkshire to introduce them
Ate too much over the weekend, hotel breakfasts etc and all other meals out, so going to have a few days of simple foods. Only problem is that I've started getting queasy when I'm hungry, so trying to eat little and often.
Today:
Breakfast: fruit corner, grapes
Snack: nothing, stuck in a meeting and felt awful
Lunch: cheese sandwich, satsumas, plums
Snack:[STRIKE] granola bar[/STRIKE] edit: half a raspberry danish.
Dinner: nothing planned yetLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

Hi Ladies. Can I ask you all a question?
I'm just wondering how much weight you had lost before you started to notice the difference?
I'm asking because I've lost 9lbs now but can't say I really notice it on my clothes or my body. My OH says he can definitely notice a change in my waist but I just don't see it.
I know I have a lot of weight to lose (started off at 15 stone) so 9lb in the grand scheme of things is not an awful lot.
I suppose i'm just a bit frustrated this week because I thought i'd be noticing results by now. Thanks for reading.0 -
Hi
I was wondering if I could get some advice from all of you who are doing so well. I have been really struggling to keep on the wagon of late and I don’t know what to do.
I’m trying to lose weight because I want to do it for me and not because someone has told me to which has happened in the past. I know I need to reduce my calories and increase my exercise but I really seem to be struggling.
I has really hoped I would have been able to lose a stone for this challenge but having stood on the scales over the weekend I think I’m back to where I was when we first started the challenge. It’s starting to get me down, because this is the first time in a long time that I’ve been able to do something just fro me and I feel a bit like a failure.
People at work are telling me I should go to a class but I can’t afford to be paying out £5 odd a week to go.
I was using MFP but haven’t logged in for a couple of weeks.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I really don’t want to go back to the way I was.

Afternoon
Morning was thick fog here and we have only just got the lovely sunshine after lunch. At least it did arrive
Breakfast: fruit muesli + ss milk
Lunch: Beef pie (small) + baked beans
Dinner: chicken breast, peas, carrots and cheese & broccoli risotto
Snack: slice toast + lf pate, small slice fruit cake
Drinks: water
Will cut out the snacks from tomorrow as I'm coming to the end of totm. Quite a bad one this time that has got me munching
lauzt1987 in answer to your question.... I find it best to measure all your bits at the start and when you feel like you do at the moment, re-measure and you will know where the weight has come off. It will make you feel better and btw you have done great so far. Don't feel disheartened. My clothes are certainly looser and I am contemplating getting the next size down but I will hold off (just in case), but after Easter for sure !
Have a good evening
