Just wanted to say a quick thank you to peeps for their comments earlier in the week
feeling a bit happier than I was. have had a good chat with DH about things and he's going to try and support me as much as he can. I've started keeping a food journal too to try and work out what my pattern and triggers for the bad stuff are so I can try and avoid them or deal with things better.
Ragz please could I amend my target. When I weighed myself on sunday I'd put on all that I'd previously lostPlease could you put my smileys back to zero and pop me down for 7lbs to try and loose before the end of the challenge. Hoping that by reducing the amount I'm aiming for it might help me stick with it and not get so depressed when the pounds aren't going as quick as I'd like!

Afternoon All, just caught up on everyone’s posts as I’ve been MIA for a few days and boy oh boy have I lost my way. Haven’t been organised, forgetting to take stuff out of the freezer to defrost (no microwave) and resorting to convenience foods for speed, along with the stress-busting glasses of wine  – I’ve been too embarrassed to make public my daily menu. My family are in the process of trying to sell the "old ancestral pile" and this being the first week on the market it has been a bit hectic trying to be available for all the viewings and much more stressful than I thought.
Anyway I am getting back on track now, had a quick peek on the scales this morning and the past 5 days don’t seem to have resulted in any damage as I’m still the same as last week so today and tomorrow will definitely be damage limitation.
B – Banana on toast.
L – Ham salad, orange
D – Prawn & vegetable stir-fry
FairyPrincessk – I’m similar in as much as having lost 7lbs my bmi is now back in the middle range for my height/weight but my waist/hip ratio is still a bit high. Family history has also been heart/stroke problems because genetically we all put on weight around the middle – one thing in my favour is that I have a “cracking pair of legs” even though I do say so myself, but maybe they are a result of all the cycling and highland dancing I did in my youth.
I also found when I moved to a much more sedentary job, where 75% of the time I was sitting at a desk/computer either studying or writing reports the weight piled on and my tummy muscles seemed to go. Things have improved a bit now as I have left that job, I am much more active and aware of my posture, but then you’re running and yoga should help with that.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

Late good morning all
. Just in from pulling weeds - it's started
, but pleased for the mild weather to be able to get outside. Bought a bargain 40 daffs for £1 yesterday as they were looking very sad in the reject bucket at the sm. Brought them home, doctored the stalks and added some fizzy to the water and they've perked up no end with a couple already beginning to open. I do love daffys
DundeeDoll so very pleased to hear your news
B - F&F, ss milk
D - Veg omelette made with 1 egg (you should see the size of it!), apple
T - 2 crackerbread - 1xvegemite, 1xmarmalade
Snacks grapes, melon, kiwi.
Exercise - 30 mins gardening, 30 mins housework (don't like to overdo it)
Spend a while trying on clothes this morning, am really pleased with the result. One or two still not good but on the whole everything is slightly looser, hangs better and the best part, no gaps between the buttons on front buttoning dresses! Guess that means I can't buy any new clothes for my holiday. Oh, yes I can, just remembered I need new walking shoes. Three more WI's before I go, 4lb to target which I don't think I can do but taking the inch loss into account it's so been worth all the effort.
Still using a tea plate and small cutlery for my meals, weighed 30g of F&F this morning then shook some back into the box. Can't believe how quickly I've got used to smaller portions, and how seldom I feel really hungry. Thanks to everyone for all the support on here and the biggest of thanks to ragz for tolerating us when we lose/sts/gain/moan/get down/move our goalposts etc etc., and still manages to keep the list up to date!
Back to the weeding, have a super day0 -
It's probably pointless to force yourself to eat if you're not hungry. I think that is your body telling you what it needs today, and it is important to listen to it. Besides, the food that you have eaten is quite nutritious.
I wouldn't worry about the peanut butter either, I know some bodybuilders eat it to top up their protein.
Hope you feel better tomorrow.I didn't end up eating anything else, just wasn't hungry.

Zumba tonight for the 1st time since I hurt my foot. Hope it goes okay.
I was having a look at my diary last night and although i've had a few ups and downs along the way, I have worked out that I have averaged a loss of a pound a week since starting new healthy regime mid January. Hoping doing it slowly and steadily will mean I keep it off this time. Why did I ever bother with faddy diets?
Have a good day everyone! Laura xx0 -
