Well I've lost between 0.5 and 0.75 lbs (hard to see on the Wii) but at least it's going in the right direction! Have been pretty good this week with 4 green days out of 5 (green are my good weekdays, red are my bad ones and weekends are just free-for-all!).
So I'm going to declare an STS until I see a full pound off!
Good luck to all,

Daska - that IS an impressive loss, but you are right to be concerned. Remember that if you are having trouble eating, drinks can provide calories as well as fluids. Milk based drinks like horlicks, ovaltine etc are good for you and have added vitamins and minerals which will help with healing. Red wine is very good for you (one glass a day though!). Bovril and the like can be nourishing too. Milkshake, especially with added oats (my favourite is banana, oats, milk, yogurt and honey) can be a meal in itself. You could make banana and peanut butter milkshake?!
Having checked back to last week I'm remembering that I didn't declare 2lb then because I thought it was water. So that's making me a bit happier. It puts this week at 5lb. Which is still high, but as I said, I'm feeling great, if I were getting cramps or feeling lightheaded I'd be very worried but that's not happening. And to a certain extent being encouraged to be quite extreme is possibly going to work in my favour where the risk of diabetes is concerned. If I can re-train my body to the point that I can reintroduce small amounts of carbs that will be priceless. The studies were done over 6 weeks. The TN keeps luring me into a false sense of security. It seems to have got to the stage where the irritation has reduced to the point that it's largely calm - i.e. only painful when triggered which is largely by eating and talking LOL and then all of a sudden it sets off again and I have to ramp up the dosage to cope with 24/7 pain. I wish it would make up it's mind. But I am mindful that I need to support this earthly vessel so I am taking a multivit, I am licking the odd spoonful of marmite and I am keeping up with the coconut oil, all of which should help keep this bod functioning. Egg mayonnaise is slipping down reasonably easily. I'm mashing the odd avocado as well. But if I'm not hungry it seems sensible to keep going. Eyes on the prize as it were. Still plodding on. More or less STS:mad::mad::mad:
Sending you all weight loss vibes xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
I am pleased to report a 1lb loss this week. After hovering around STS for the last 3-4 weeks, I am glad I have got things moving again!
Especially pleased as that's pushed me past my halfway mark and have three pounds to go til my target.
Well done to all the losers and STSers. Keep on pushing gainers!0 -
Moening all
(oops that was a typo but made me smile cos it reminded me of 'Allo 'Allo)
Breakfast - fruity, spicy porridge
Will record the rest later as am out most of the day. Will say though that as I was getting dressed I tried on three pairs of day-to-day trousers and they're all so loose thery're almost at the falling down point! Makes up for my sts, so I'm a very chirpy lil sparrer this morning
Lunch - 1 hot cross bun w/rf spread
Dinner - small portion paella, not keen on it but would have been rude to say so
Snacks - grapes, apple, plums, melon
No exercise yet as worn out, will try in an hour or so
Hope you enjoyed your day0 -
I am happy to report a 2lb loss this week :j :j Only 3 weeks to go til the big day and things are finally moving in the right direction...Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Hi DundeeDoll. I set myself a target in managable bites (if you'll pardon the pun) and most of us list our daily menu. I find it helps me not to eat what isn't written down. Atm we're working toward Easter, after which hopefully our lovely ragz will record our next target. If you read the first posts it explains it better than I can.
Lovely to 'see' you and hope you join in before Easter, even if it's just to give yourself a trial run. S0 -
Evening All
Had a very busy day and only just got in from a busy evening at work. DH treated me to lunch out today. We go to this little country pub where you get a main course, a pudding and a coffee for a fiver - amazing value. It's all home cooked and really tasty. Trouble is, I can't resist having everything!
B: Poached egg on toast.
L: Steak with chips, onion rings, peas and salad garnish. Lemon Lush gateau with icecream
T: Prawn salad wrap. Banana.
Exercise: 3km run in 20 minutes. About 2 miles of walking.
