Good luck JackieO, thinking of you and sending wishes for a steady recovery.

B - F&F, ff Greek yogurt, ss milk. Need get rid of this almost full box of sugary F&F, get my usual brand tomorrow. Don't want to bake cakes/biscuits with it and can't give it to the dog - any ideas, other than throwing it away?
L - egg salad, dressing 50% mayo, 50% ff yogurt. Friend turned up her nose at the idea til she tried it, now like me she mixes it all the time ;)
D - out to a party with a buffet this evening. Hope it's not beige, if it is I'll eat when I get home.
S - pineapple, the last ever satsuma. No more citrus, hopefully my arthritis will be grateful
E - 2x6mins with Mr W, 4 more planned. Have got up to a total of 1.3miles a day in 6 weeks, very pleased with that.

Have a sunny rest of the day :)

    Happy birthday zippy :j :D :T

Well, would you all like to smack my wrist right now...

I've eaten all of todays calories already!!!

Yesterday was good, and although I would have liked to over indulge, I didn't.
Today...I had some left over quiche, so decided to have it for lunch with some light coleslaw. Kept busy doing jobs in the house this morning while it was raining, and when it stopped decided to walk to the charity shop to look at some curtains (thinking - a walk - that's a good thing).

wellll...the charity shop is right next door to the chip shop...can you see where this is going :o...so I bought chips to have with my quiche.
And the worst thing is I thought I was being good! (you know, because I didn't buy a large fish supper or some such!!!)

So I may as well go to bed now, because there should be no more food today...:rotfl:

When I've bought muesli that I don't much like, I've mixed it with the nice stuff until it's finished. Maybe you could use it, but dilute the sugary effects. Or give it to your nice neighbour?

    Morning all,
MFP says I should be having 1200 calories daily which I have been following for last month with no loss so do you think it would be ok to lower it to 1000?

I agree with Knit Witch that 1000 cals sounds too low.

Are you recording *everything* on mfp (including drinks), and weighing things so you know how much you're having?

    Sammi

Hi I wouldnt go any lower on the cals either I read somewhere that anything lower than 1200 and your body thinks its starving so actually holds on to its weight!! Rather than lowering your calories maybe review what you are eating and make sure your cals are coming from 'whole some' foods not pear drops like me :rotfl:

    Hi,
yes I record everything. I weigh everything before i plate up my meal and everything. The only thing i can see being problematic is some days I am unable to exercise because of the pain of my arthritis at the minute. Saying that i still do the school run twice daily and have a 2 1/2 year old to run after so Its not as if i don't do some activity on bad days : (

Oh slight off the subject rant.............im far from lazy and some days literally run myself into the ground!

Well today i felt dizzy earlier and still feel abit 'off' now but ive still done my exercise dvd, made me & OH breakfast, cleaned the bathroom, done a load of washing, hoovered whole house, had a shower and gone to tesco.

When I got back in (bout an hour ago) i thought blow it ill put my pj bottoms back on with a t-shirt and my dressing gowen and treat myself to an hour in front of the telly whilst i paint my nails (and OH mows the lawn) I aint kidding when i say my backside barely grazed the sofa when OHs parents turned up!!!

His dad even said to me Oh aint you getting dressed today :mad: I am mad as 1. I NEVER treat myself to pj & telly and B. i now look like a right lazy cow!! Grrrrr

    Rant over!

Thanks ellie and SSM, I'll try mixing it.

    ellie re your chips :rotfl:

SSM I fully understand. You can bet someone comes to my door when I waiting for the hair dye to take, or I have wet nail varnish, or worst of all the visitor is my neighbour's gorgeous cousin (he collects her door key from me sometimes) finds me in old tatty gardening clothes with dirty nails and hair looking like a scarecrow. My retort would have been along the lines of 'at least you'll feel at home' :p

sammi another one who thinks 1000 cals is too low and you'll go into starvation mode. Just going on my own experience, I cut back to a silly amount very early on and found it wasn't sustainable, I was so hungry after a few days I ate everything in sight! Listen to your body, it will let you know when and what it wants to eat. Just stop when you're almost full. :)

Oooh SSM, talk about sods law! Bliddy typical for them to turn up and "catch you"...try again tomorrow :)

:rotfl::rotfl:oh this is brilliant :rotfl::rotfl: I dont think im far behind you though today with what I have eaten  Going to bed is certainly 1 way of stopping eating!!

well I'm not in bed yet :)
not long home, drove home this afternoon thinking the house will be empty, I'll be really good and just have a coffee when I get in.

But..when I pull up, DS1 meets me at the door and says can we have pizza for tea?! No, actually, the first thing he said was "before you come in, I need to tell you about 2 things I broke today!" (one of which was unraveling a bit of his brand new carpet )
The second thing was the pizza request.

So, do you think I'm strong enough to sit and watch him eat a pizza and not have one myself? No, I don't think so either :o

however, we're being "good" :rotfl:...having a thin crust from the freezer rather than going to the takeaway.
    Oh well, tomorrow's another day.

ETA: settled for 4 slices of the pizza, 500 calories...could be worse, mfp says I've had maintenance calories today. And it's not easy to leave 2 slices on the plate!

    Evening all

I've surprised myself and had another proper tea tonight, pork steak, cauliflower, boiled potatoes and a bit of gravy...this is nothing like my normal weekend munchies/binge!

Do I think I've cracked this weekend binge habit...do I heck...just so happens I have healthy foods to use up otherwise it would be chips :rotfl:

Ooooh I also walked to the shops this morning, its only 20 mins away but better than getting the bus, have done all the housework ..... and done a hours weeding in the garden....I feel tired just thinking about the 'exercise' I've done:rotfl:

Don't know whats come over me this weekend lol
