When craving chocolate in the evening I usually find a Cadbury's Highlights (hot chocolate drink) does the trick, and it fills the stomach too.

KNITWITCH can you put me down for 8lbs for the next challenge. I'll believe it when I see it though.Might be a bit ambitious =-O

Pollybear it'll be all the walking you need to do to go buy the Freddo from your corner shop that's helping the 3lbs :p

I don't have much in the way of sugary snacks in my house, trying not to as I keep thinking about the E numbers! But I do let myself have a small cake when people bring them in for a birthday. Over the last 2 weeks, I've had 2 cookies, 4 rice crispy cakes, 3 praline chocolates and a french fancy. Clearly I work in a very big office with a few too many Birthdays!

Oh good grief! After this post, I had a dream last night about cakes at work! I had 2 cakes but ate half of one in one sitting. I thought 'this is too much cake' and took it to work to off-load (payback time). Then I got really peeved that my colleagues ate all the cake and there was none left :rotfl::rotfl:

Apparently my subconscious believes I have a cake addiction...

    On Minicooper :rotfl:re the cake!

Well im afraid im still +2LB this morning :( I have no idea what ive done wrong really so maybe its just one of those things since ive upped my exercise! Ive measured myself this morning so will also keep track this way too so I dont get too dishearted!
A couple of years ago I did the Insanity workout and I droppeed a dress size but never lost a single pound!! People kept saying 'oh you've lost so much weight and i was like actually I havent!' think i must have replaced fat with muscle!

Knitwitch can you put me down for 10LB for the next challenge please (seems laughable at the minute! But onwards and downwards!)

Ive got up this morning and done Jillian Micheals body revolution Cardi circuit (30min workout- very high intensity- im very red in the face still 15 mins later :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

Right off to 'battle Saturday' check back later :)

Well, I wish I'd found Freddos earlier. I've been having one every single day for the last week or two and after sts-ing for weeks and weeks, this week I've lost 3lbs! I can't believe it!

Maybe you've found a new miracle diet Pollybear :D
Anyone else want to trial it?
Pollybear it'll be all the walking you need to do to go buy the Freddo from your corner shop that's helping the 3lbs :p

if you walk to a shop about 15 minutes away for your freddo, you'll be cancelling it out completely...it'll be like you never even ate it :)

I love how we mention names of sweets and Franigan guesses what they are because she has no idea...that's a GOOD thing Franigan, a really good thing :rotfl:

savesummore, maybe you are indeed building muscle with all your exercising...or maybe you should try a daily freddo? :)

Thanks everyone for all your commiserations re work (or lack of it).
I'm still upset about it.... I'm wondering if they wanted rid of me anyway, there are some changes afoot which might make it cheaper for them if I wasn't there. I guess I'll never know.

Anyway...putting on the happy face and getting on with it...I'm telling myself I've coped with worse than this in the past :)
Yesterday I tried not to go over board, was okay apart from one chocolate muffin.

Today I've been shopping, and didn't go down the sweets aisle, thought it was better to avoid completely.
I did buy ice cream though...I don't have ice cream much, so have no idea of calories, guessing it's fattening though :o Thought it would be a nice treat and steer me away from chocolate.
And it was free which was nice :D ( a checkout mistake meant I got twice my money back)

I'll have to make more effort with walking now that I'm not getting any exercise at work...can't say I'm inspired this morning though!

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?
