If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
Hugs ellie and anyone else with a gain. Its the long term weight loss athat matters, marathon not a sprint x

I think I've broken all records and ended the challenge with a 2.5lb gain
. I'm not surprised after a week of hotel meals and the Chinese this week which lasted me two days. Not good but it gives me a kick in the pants to lose that and more for the next challenge, I'm away again in June and don't want to tip the plane!
Rethinking all my meds and food, I need to eat foods which aren't going to aggravate my arthritis. I'm silly to have citrus fruit, which I eat daily, and various other things so the new challenge will come with a revised shopping list
B - dry fried egg on a slice of toasted nimble wm
D - rf cheese salad with 1/2 a jacket. Rf mayo & ff yogurt dressing
T - fresh fruit salad (still have citrus fruit which needs using up), Greek yogurt
S - apple, banana
E - 6x6mins @ 2.5mph planned - 1 done so far
Well done losers and sts's, good luck everyone for the new challenge0 -
Sorry to read your last night's post Ellie :(
Well, I wish I'd found Freddos earlier. I've been having one every single day for the last week or two and after sts-ing for weeks and weeks, this week I've lost 3lbs! I can't believe it! I had to weigh twice to check! I do hope it doesn't go straight back on - I'll make sure I keep eating Freddos just in case
So I think I'll try for 2lb on the next challenge which sounds pathetic but if I do achieve that earlier then I can always change my target.
Thank you Knit Witch for all your hard work.0 -
I have had to change my diet Sparrer in the past few months. I started to suffer from allergies in December, huge hives and awful itching and could not work out what it was. Had a lightbulb moment in February and discovered it was tomatoes. Because of that I also stopped eating all the nightshade family as well which I think aggravates arthritis, I don.t suffer from that but as I have got older I do have some joint pain so I thought it might help me to omit a few things. Like you. I was also having a fair amount of citrus as well so I have changed to having kiwi, pears and fresh pineapple.
Knit witch could you. Please put me down for 7 lbs for the next challenge.0 -
Good morning!
God, Ellie99, how unfair! Above all, if whatever you've done didn't have any real negative effect!! Hopefully you will find something else quickly!!
Now I will have to look at what this Freddos is.....presumably something cold? Eh eh!!
Reporting 0.5 Kg loss this week (that is 1.1 lb). Pretty pleased with that!
Hope we will all stay strong during the "dreaded" weekend!! :rotfl:
PS:
Almost forgot!
B: Usual coffee + porridge made with half milk/half water and honey
L: 1 portion of veggie curry on basmati ricehalf portion of chicken and mushroom baked penne + steamed green beans
E: 1 hour of ballet/yoga/pilates class0 -
Also KW, can I be put down for 2.5 Kg to lose in this new round?
Thanks for keeping everything updated!!!0 -
Ellie- Hugs!! How awful! Unfortunatley this world we live in today is just driven by greed & money with very little thought for people, their efforts or their lives!
Hope you find something else soon
Knitwitch I will do my offical weigh in tomorrow please
Im really really fed up today! Ive been good all week with the exception of saturday night and some cake on Wednesday, ive done loads of exercise getting up yesterday and today at 6:30am!!
I weighed myself this morning (after my workout maybe this is the problem?) and ive put on 2lbs!!!! I cant believe/accept this its just sooooooo unfair!!
So I will weigh myself tomorrow morning before exercise/drink etc and report back then
I know in the grand scheme of life this is minor but its really upset me today
Today:
B: 2 small wholemeal toast, tablespoon peanut butter, banana
S: Greek yogurt and grapes
L: HM tuna salad with carrot sticks, 2 oatcakes
S: french fries, apple
T: HM Jamie Oliver meatloaf & pasta
E: 25 mins 'fit in 5-20 mins'
May eat a chocolate mountain after my tea (sulk!)
Everyone had breakfast sandwiches today at work- I did not so :AO/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)0 -
Franigan - a Freddo is just a child size bar of Cadburys Dairy Milk. 95 calories. If you eat it very slowly it just about satisfies that chocolate urge and if you only buy one at a time (not 6 for £1 like the special offer!) then you can't overdo it. I didn't eat chocolate for 3 years and I never ever lost the urge to have it so I have given in to it now and it's the only way I can control it.0

Thanks Pollybear! Im not doing very well with all these sweets and chocolate-y business, am I! First, Savesummore's pear drops and now this! :wall: :rotfl:
I thought it was some miraculous slimming milk-shake of some sort (even if they wouldn't be welcomed on these thread)!!!
...you may think I'm lucky not being into all this stuff, but on the other hand you could ask me anything about italian cold meat! (the fattiest type, mainly) :rotfl:
Although...
I had a small portion of food for dinner last night and I was watching Masterchef...it got me soooo hungry!! Quite strangely, I was even craving for their desserts, and after a little while....for any dessert!! I don't keep any treat in the house so I was this close to have a hot milk with a dollop of honey as a palliative! Ah, the desperation..0
