Good morning!!!
My weekend was "alright". Didn't particularly overdo it for a change. Although, MFP figures were still in red!!
* Bread slices: I could not believe my eyes! 86 calories per slice!!!
Have a good day!
My MFP was way in the red yesterday (413 calories over ), however I did come in at 2 calories under for the week, so not all bad, lol!
I've done ok today, mainly because I didn't have time for a proper lunch, as my dad was going into a care home for a few weeks and I had to drop him off there before 4, and I didn't finish work till 1.
B bran flakes with sultanas, sliced banana, and semi skimmed milk
L low fat fruit bar and a banana
D minced steak pie with oven chips and beans
S low fat cereal bar
E 30 minutes of walking and 20 minutes on the exercise bike
I am determined to reach my target for this challenge, so I have to be really good this week.Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

Good morning! My "red figures" saga continues with..yesterday:
B: Porridge, honey, half whole milk/half water. NO COFFEE
S: 1 apple
L: 1/4 veggie frittata with mixed saladPasta with ragu sauce and cheese. Red grapes after dinner.
E: NONE
MFP says -172.
Had far too much pasta. I would normally take 1/4 out to use for lunch the following day but could not bring myself to do that last night!
I have already filled today's diary on MFP:
B: Coffee +Porridge, honey, half whole milk/half water
S: 1 cup cake (colleague's bday)
L: 1/2 portion Creamy tarragon pork on tiny bit of pastaRed lentils soup. Not going to have any bread.
E: 30 mins high intensity aerobics + 30 mins pilates
I will have to stick to it no matter what!! Will update you later if I really have.
Have a good day!0 -
SSM I've been refusing alcoholic drinks for the past 9 years, if anyone tries to force one on me I just say I'm allergic, and they leave it at that. I know quite a few people who don't drink yet go out and enjoy themselves (not least watching other people go over the top and making a fool of themselves!). I have a pub lunch with 5/6 other women on Sundays and the landlady says we're more lively and laugh ten times more than the drinkers. So don't ever feel strange not drinking, it's surprising how many people don't, and how easily it's accepted these days.
B - F&F, prunes, 1/2 banana, Greek style ff yogurt
L & D tba
E - so far 10 mins at 3mph on treadmill. More to follow0 -
3 days of medication due to pain/inflamation etc and 9 s*dding pounds have gone on :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Commiserations Knit Witch, how frustrating!
Hope the medication is at least helping with the painsavesummore wrote: »Im not that keen on drinking but alway feel people think your abit weird if you go and a refuse an alcoholic drink!
I tell myself that other people aren't really that interested in what I'm drinking, but the thing about alcohol is that sometimes people DO have opinions on what I'm drinking...and it's always the heavier drinkers, and it's always negative...like you're being a spoil sport by not drinking as much as them. (whereas as sparrer says, we can have just as much fun without getting drunk).
My ex's family were like that, all big drinkers, and even though I would say I didn't want any more, they would continue buying for me from the kitty...really annoying and wasteful.
I'm now very stubborn, and do exactly what I want...I've some new friends who are also big drinkers, but they respect that I can't drink much (one even lets me mix my own drink because I'm such a lightweight and can't manage her strong drinks)
I won't tell people I'm allergic or teetotal, because I like to have a couple if I'm out, but I can't handle any more, and I don't like feeling ill.
So I think we should all stick up for ourselves and drink *exactly* what we want, whether that's none at all, a little or a lot :T
Spent yesterday and today painting again, then lifted a carpet and cut it into 3 pieces so I could carry it downstairs on my own.
Looked at mfp, and they don't list decorating on their exercise list..."cooking or food preparation" is listed! as is riding on a lawnmower, surely that's just sitting down???
Oh well, I hope I've burnt up a few calories because it's eating into my walking time.
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0
