Can I join in please? I'm horribly overweight and need to do something about it, so am hoping this will help. I joined the local council pool this week as well, so planning on going swimming at least twice a week. I need to cut down my portion sizes and reduce the booze intake!
I'm aiming to lose 5 pounds by the end of this challenge.

    today's food -
B - two potato cakes with Quark
L - small portion of mince and veg, cup soup
D - gammon and veg fried rice with curry sauce
snacks - frozen yogurt, two new potatoes

Oooh another new member :T, I will add you to the challenge table :p

Sorry I am bit late on this, I was out on Sunday and then spent yesterday recovering pain wise :(
    Must use my stash up!

Didn't get chance to post food diary last night. Can't remember everything now but ate well. Only crimes against my waistline were two mini eggs and a bottle of pineapple and passionfruit ribena (200cals). However did go on a good walk to a park with DS1 and vigorously swept patio free of bonfire debris in the morning.

Franigan I am trying to drink more too but not doing so well at it.
Today I have painted our garage door. Did some cleaning around it first. So was reasonably active all morning. Lovely sunny day again :) Washing on the line and starting to see buds on the shoots of spring bulbs.

Currently roasting a leg of lamb and munching raw carrot. DS1 (2) is eating his dinner. My emptied ribena bottle is full of nice cold water :)

Will do mini-roasties in my actifry (spray oil, potatoes softened in microwave b4). Carrots, cabbage, mangetout, gravy (from granules).
DSs are too little to know about pancake day so not doing pancakes today. May do some at the weekend

Forgot to say welcome to our newbies yesterday! Franigan, weeze and beluga - good luck!

After my slice of toast for breakfast, my stomach started to feel very upset today. I couldn't decide what was wrong with it, it was a bit like indigestion meets queasiness meets constipation. Helped me to eat a little less during the day.

    B: 1 slice of toast
S: Diet coke (to help my tummy)
L: scotch broth with 1 slice of bread
S: peppermints (to help my tummy)
D: pork and aubergine curry with lime rice
S: 4 Samosas (made them at my curry course this evening, had 4 because they were nice and freshly cooked)

    HelloHelloHello!!

    Food diary yesterday:

B: Instant coffee, splash of FF milk, 3/4 of a teaspoon of sugar.
Porridge, FF milk and spoonful of clear honey
L: again Veggie Cottage pie (lentils)
    S: 1 pear, 1 nectarine
D: Leftover roast potatoes, steamed green beans and carrots from Weekend roasted beef (I had to go out quickly and promised myself a "proper" dinner when back but never bothered in the end). Only had 1 pear and 1 apple.

    Have a good day!

Was good yesterday, no snacks at all, and managed a walk as well.

Today I'm very happy, positively beaming :D

You may recall me moaning recently (couldn't have been me, I never moan :rotfl:) that my most favourite jeans were now too big.
I'd seen a pair on e*bay, but they were the same size as mine...common sense won, and I didn't bid on them.

However on Sunday I bought a pair the next size down, the exact same "make and model". They arrived today...so I'm now the happy owner of a size 14 pair of jeans which fit perfectly :D

My interest in clothes is returning, which is probably a bad thing as I'm trying not to buy as I have plenty to wear already. Spent a contented hour browsing e*bay last night...must tell myself it's not a good idea, how would I know if stuff would fit, and I wouldn't want to return anything because that's not fair on the sellers. MUST NOT BUY!
