Hello guys,
I have been a little quiet on here, but I just wanted to report a 1lb loss! Have been really positive about life the past couple of weeks and have happily not eaten crisps since last Friday and am now off them for lent. Woops, I am sorry to report I have put on 1lb
Still recovering from a nasty chest infection and I seem to have lost my momentum temporarily. I have been very unactive for a week or so but yesterday I went for a lovely beach walk and hope to do a downland walk this weekend. I aim to mow all my lawns today and do lots of gardening for exercise. I just adore Springtime. I will get back on track. Menu for today and good luck to everyone else. Apologies for letting the team down
B- 2 slices of Granary toast. Slice of fresh Pineapple and a Kiwi
L-Oats so Simple, Orange, Carrot and Mango Yogurt
D- Courgette and Wild Mushroom Risotto with a green salad with some fresh pineapple for dessert.0 -
I'm noticing a slight trend here; a 1.5lb gain seems to appear once a month. Although having said that, a gain doesn't seem ridiculously unreasonable after a week containing carrot cake, butter chicken, an upset tummy (that led to diet coke and pack of mints), and 2 weight training sessions at the gym.
I am off to my parents for a long weekend from tonight. I'm looking forward to it. My dad was recently diagnosed with diabetes, and so there won't be any sugary things, but i'll need to take the chance to educate him about added sugar, so hopefully they won't ply me with pies and pastries like they usually do!0 -
STS for me this weekLoved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0

Thanks for the giggle Franigan
Reporting a 1 lb loss today, managed to repair the damage I did last weekend.
Celebrated by having a larger than normal bowl of muesli and granola, oh yes, I know how to live! :rotfl:
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
Morning!
1.5lb loss for me. Thankfully that Domino's large pizza hasn't ruined it for me. Going out tonight for some tapas with a small group of people. Going to eat a couple of carrots and/or celery before, so I won't overdo it as my usual! I want drive too, so alcohol intake will be 2 sips of whatever bf will have.
Muddes: my best friend has a chronic chest infection and it's a real pain! Hopefully yours will be gone soon!
Ah, from yesterday:
B: same coffee, porridge, milk, spoon of honey
L: 1/2 portion of broccoli and stilton soup + medium lettuce saladTiny portion of beef and mushroom stroganoff. I did it with leftover beef and it was meant to be done for the freezer, but it was rusbbish (my bad), so I had 6 mouthfuls (without rice or pasta) and threw it in the bin (I dont think it could have been saved).
1 cracker with butter and creamy blue cheese.
E: 1 hr pilates class
No fruit, almost no vegetables. ..but pleeeeenty of water! :jMy colleagues must think I have a problem with my frequent trips to the loo! :rotfl:
Have a good day!
