Feeling a bit rough today (tired and have a cold). Two year old is a childminders' for the day so I only have the baby. Still in my pjs, eating and resting. Will confess my sins later but won't beat myself up about it.
Read this quote earlier:
"Optimist: Someone who figures that taking a step backward after taking a step forward is not a disaster, its cha-cha." Robert Brault.

hi Knitwitch
completely missed the weigh in at the weekend ( nothing to do with a sneaky fish and chips - honset) anyway put me down for a 1lb & 1/4 loss - which takes me over !!!!
yay !!!!!!Fight Back - Be Happy0 -
I still really miss chocolate and I don't think I'll ever be able to control myself around it. A few days ago I saw an advert on television for Cadburys Dairy Milk which was always my favourite and said how much I'd like some. DH said "but you don't eat chocolate". My reply was that it didn't mean I didn't want to. He doesn't understand at all. He is someone who can eat one or two squares of chocolate. I have to have the whole bar and if it's a multipack then I have to have all the bars. Immediately. I wish I could control myself and enjoy a little bit but I have tried and proved I can't do it
I really miss it.
Would a freddo help pollybear? I used to buy freddo's and chomps quite a lot when I was doing SW - it's such a small bar, can't have a lot of calories in it. If you go to your nearest corner shop, and only take 15p with you to buy the one, that will make sure you don't have too many.
Met up with my sister today after her birthday last week. She wanted to do afternoon tea, and so that's what we did! I enjoyed the experience, but (without wanting to sound like a grump) I didn't like a lot of the things on the plate - either something I hate (eggs sandwich), or something I wouldn't normally bother with (scones). I ate what I didn't hate, but the rest feels like a lot of empty calories.0 -
Sorry I wasn't around at the weekend, it was my birthday on Friday AND I had a friend staying  - so no checking this thread until today

minicooper, I'll look for those bars and see if they have them in my local shop. As long as I only buy one at a time.....0 -
Happy (belated) Birthday Knitwitch
Well its not been a good day diet wise
B: Plum, weetabix, raisins, milk. 1 round multigrain toast with grated cheese.
L: 1/2 a 3 minute noodle, 1 round multigrain toast with Brussels pate.Chicken tikka masala with coconut rice (made with 1/2 water, 1/2 coconut milk) Mum made it, rice tasted very creamy so probably fattening.
S: A strawberry cupcake (220 calories), an apple, a tangerine, a chocolate coin.
I am still craving chocolate, so will have a Cadbury's highlights hot choc.
I will do better!!!!!!2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

Happy (late) Birthday Knitwitch
Fluffysox- It maybe an old wives tale but my OH mom always says- you should feed a cold
Just popping back into to say a book i read ages ago called 'Escape the diet trap' has a 12 minute workout in it that clams to be al you need in terms of exercise so (im sure you are all fed up of hearing this now) due to my lack of time im going to give it a go in a morning before work (not tomorrow as i already need to get up a half 6 and do the ironing!!) im sure im just alittle crazy :rotfl:
Ill let you all know if I manage to be the next Kate Moss on 12 mins a day
Oh still no progress on new part time job front it still seems very 'flat' out there jobs wise so ill struggle on for now and keep lookingO/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)0 -

Happy Birthday for last Friday KW, here a cal/fat/sugar/carb etc-free cyber cake for you :bdaycake:
Not a good day in terms of weight watching but I did enjoy what I ate
B - F&F, prunes, ff Greek yogurt
D - salad, jacket with cheese, ice cream
T - 3 croissants, 1 with peanut butter, 1 with cheese, 1 with lemon cheese
S - satsuma, melon, 1/2 banana, 2 pieces shortbread
E - 4x5 mins on treadmill. Tried upping it to 3mph but ran out of breath in a minute so will keep it at 2.5 until I'm more used to it. Burned 102 cals - not quite enough to work off those all butter croissants and shortbread0
