If you want to join in the challenge we have 4 weekends left in this one - so I would need to know how much you would like to lose in that time. Of course you don't have to join the challenge to enjoy the thread!

Thanks. I will post my daily food intake for now so i can stay motivated. And see where i go wrong. I will need to buy some scales in the meantime.

Oh minicooper im jealous of your curry course it sounds amazing.............If only I had a spare minute in my life :rotfl:

Oh don't be too jealous! Most of the dishes i've cooked so far have been really healthy, just tomato sauces or yoghurt in them. Yesterday we made butter chicken, which takes half a slab of butter and 1/2 a pot of cream between 3 meals :eek: I wouldn't normally make something that fatty on a diet, but was FORCED to :rotfl: Personally I won't make it again - it's left my mouth very greasy, but i'll finish what i've cooked first.
  • Please can I join? Not sure when challenge finishes but know it's not too long so can you put me down for 5lb please.

Was good yesterday, no snacks at all, and managed a walk as well.

Today I'm very happy, positively beaming :D

You may recall me moaning recently (couldn't have been me, I never moan :rotfl:) that my most favourite jeans were now too big.
I'd seen a pair on e*bay, but they were the same size as mine...common sense won, and I didn't bid on them.

However on Sunday I bought a pair the next size down, the exact same "make and model". They arrived today...so I'm now the happy owner of a size 14 pair of jeans which fit perfectly :D

My interest in clothes is returning, which is probably a bad thing as I'm trying not to buy as I have plenty to wear already. Spent a contented hour browsing e*bay last night...must tell myself it's not a good idea, how would I know if stuff would fit, and I wouldn't want to return anything because that's not fair on the sellers. MUST NOT BUY!

When I started watching my food intake at new year my work trousers were extremely snug, to the point the zip was ready to burst open.....I've noticed they fit alot better now and I discovered yesterday that if I wiggle my hips a little I can get my trousers off without undoing them :rotfl::rotfl:

    I am so easily amused!

I'm the same, I couldn't be bothered to buy clothes when I was overweight, but am now getting interested in clothes shopping again. However I'm trying hard not to buy too much, as I have loads of clothes from my previous attempts at weight loss to see me through until I get down to my goal weight, and will have a bit of a spending spree when I get there.

It's a great feeling to be able to do that isn't it? I told OH earlier this evening that I'd done that at work, he was quite horrified until I explained that I was actually in the loo at the time, lol!

Yesterday while in town I set my tracker on my phone to track my walking, and when I got home it said I'd burnt over 500 calories, as I forgot to switch it off before driving home, lol! The tracker posts my workouts onto my MFP diary automatically, and when I checked it I saw that it put that I'd been running at about 5 mph, like I'd be capable of that, lol!

I've been really good so far this week, partly because OH was working late shifts on Monday and Tuesday, so I didn't bother cooking a proper dinner as I was on my own, and just had a jacket potato with beans on Monday, and some soup and bread last night.

    Today:-
B bran flakes with sultanas and semi skimmed milk
L oxtail soup with 2 slices wholemeal bread, 1 ryvita
D jacket potato with beans and 1 lincolnshire sausage
S 2 small oranges, an apple and a low fat cereal bar
E about half hour of walking, 10 minutes aerobics and 30 minutes on the exercise bike

Day off tomorrow, so I'm hoping to do some exercise on the wii, and maybe a bit with my DVD.

    Good morning!!

Here's to the people getting back into their (once)tight jeans and trousers! I too have a work dress I used to wear 4 years ago and I am determined to get back into that one!

Been very bad yesterday. I have been brilliant all week (I even cheated and weighed myself and found an astonishing -1.5lbs!!), but I ruined everything! MyFitnessPal app almost crashed last night! So it was:

B: Porridge, FF milk, Tbsp clear honey
Instant coffee, splash of FF milk, 3/4 tsp sugar
L: 1/2 portion of Broccoli and Stilton Soup + lettuce salad
S: 1 Pear (Savesummore, Im following your trend!)
    ..and here it comes..
D: We had Domino's pizza (very rare). I had 3/4 of a large New Yorker with hotdog stuffed crust..but before , as I was waiting for OH to finish some work he took home, I had 2 slices of toast with some fattyfattyfatty cold meat.
..oh yes, and 1 orange after the pizza

    E: None!

MyFitnessPal said he is no longer going to be my pal and marked a redder than red -1474 for yesterday!!

Hope you are all doing better than that! :)

Oh yours is the heathly version- im always eating the sweets- pear drops :rotfl:maybe i should trade it in for an actual pear!

S: 1 medium wholmeal toast with spoon on peaunut butter, 1 pear drop ;)
L: LO HM chicken casserole, greek yog with a couple of strawberries, 2 'eric the elephant'' chewy sweets

    OMG, soo embarassing!! :o :rotfl:

You know, I was wondering why you were adding "drop" after "pear"!!

Im not english + did not grow up here (obviously) + I am not really into sweets in general =
I thought that was another way to refer to the actual fruit!!!! Ah ah!!

That's another gaffe to add to my loooong list of misunderstandings! My partner is english and I am his biggest source of amusement.:D
