morning all
feeling quite positive this morning, think it's because I've planned most of the week's dinners. I really struggle to think what to cook when I get home from work, so making a list on a sunday helps to stop that. I also got DH to do all the washing up after our roast last night, so I know that's not waiting for me to get home
Need to go to the supermarket tonight, we've run out of lots of essentials, so won't be able to fit any exercise in as well
Breakfast: activia yoghurt
Lunch: ham sandwich, apple, satsumas
Dinner: toad in the hole (2 sausages and LO yorkie batter), LO gravy, peas, sproutsLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Morning all.
Rubbish day yesterday foodwise - not picking but portion size. I made a gorgeous chicken curry with loads of veggies hidden away in it and managed 2 :eek: platefuls with rice. Right back to how I used to eat.
I will try harder today I promise.
B - Nothing.
L - Ryvita and lf Philly with some tomatoes.
T - Baked potato witha chicken breast and salad.
S - Fruit.
E - Planning a walk this afternoon, it will be a long one as the route is sorted. Must remember to wear the pedometer.

Good Morning all. Apologies for the lack of posts over the weekend. I have torn a ligament in my foot which is causing all sorts of problems and meant I ended up at A&E over the weekend. Unsurprisingly, I have STS this week. Just wanted to post to say that I'm still here and hope you all had a lovely weekend.
Going to have to try extra hard to eat well this week as I can't get to the gym0 -
1/2lb loss for me this week
. This is going to be a tough week as the children are off for half term. I always find I eat more and less healthy as we tend to have treats in the holidays. Hope everyone has a good week.

I notice lots of people mention low fat hummus, and I so love hummus maybe just a bit too much and always feel so virtuous and healthy for eating it, but by crikey seeing the number of calories in it it scares the life out of me. I make my own and try to go heavier on the lemon juice and lighter on the olive oil but still it's a lot of calories for a very small portion. I even put some water in mine this week, but maybe overdone it a touch.
We don't have any ready made low fat version available in the shops either but curious as to how they make it so. Does anyone have a low-calorie recipe?
B. Yoghurt, few apricot halves and muesli
L. HM Hummus, carrot stick and salad, plus banana
D. Roast chicken and salad sandwich, beetroot and a very small portion of that horrible cheesecake I made. :rotfl:
Shame there's still some of that blessed cheesecake that will need eating up tomorrow as well.
Exercise: 1.5 hour yoga class but I was tired and totally rubbish at it today - my name was mentioned quite a few more times than I would have liked and for all the wrong reasons.Mortgage

Sorry I'm so late with my weigh in, I should probably explain that I have a mild version of bipolar disorder, so sometimes I disappear if my mood is low but I always come back! Sorry if TMI but I find it often helps to explain why I often blow hot and cold! My moods are linked to my weight, why makes it extra important for me to be healthier.
So unsurpisingly given it was a bad week for me I'm reporting a 1lb gain. I have been doing no real exercise, eating too much sugary foods and carbs.
I have to accept that my weight loss will be an extremely slow journey, and try and stay on track as much as I can, even when the going gets tough. Was thinking of making myself a list of suitable breakfasts, lunches etc that I can just look at and make a meal without having to think too deeply.
Okay - todays food plan.
B - Porridge with raisins
L - Poached eggs on toast
D - Leek and potato soup, small serving of choc pudding and custard
S - Half a jam sandwich :embarasse and fruit
