Very miserable week food wise as my tummy is still very unpredictable. Im up this late as I have just had a late night commune with huey on the great white telephone !!!

Hubby says to not eat for 24 hours but that in itself makes me retch as Im starving. Really weird - any ideas what I can eat?

    Hugs x

Oh poor you :( they say things like dry toast or crackers if you are feeling sick, but I usually go for anything I fancy and can stomach. I can get to the point of extreme nausea and vomiting if I get too hungry so it is important to get something down no matter what it is.

    Hope you feel better!

Wasn't going to weigh in but I popped on the scales and it is bad news, +2 :( I'm sure part of it is that I still have not been to the toilet  so some of that must be everything I have eaten this week just sitting in my body! Sorry if tmi....

Anyway I will up the efforts next week and I think a key thing will be not going TOO off track over the weekend. I need to relax a bit or I'd end up hating life but a bit relaxed need not turn into a free for all on the cake and carbs and wine! :rotfl:

    Good luck everyone.

Oh, and thanks again everyone for the kind messages. Bracing myself to face work today.

I'm feeling a bit fed up today, as my weight is fluctuating badly again: yesterday the scales showed 2 1/2 lbs off and I felt quite pleased with myself, then this morning they're showing less than 1/2 lb loss - i.e. effectively STS. :( I'll try again tomorrow as I'm struggling to believe I haven't lost any weight this week when I've been so strict with myself. :(

    Today goes:

B - two thick slices of wholemeal bread with half an avocado and six slices of chorizo - not ideal but, as someone (ellie?) said the other day, I'm getting so fed up with having to think about every mouthful I eat and wanted something I could just enjoy
L - TBC - probably soup and a sandwich again, as I've enjoyed it so much for the past couple of days
D - fish pie (a RM, RTC clear one after what happened last time I tried to make my own :o) with steamed broccoli and chard
Back after a very long break!

Hi, I decided to take the bull by the horns and stepped in the scales. Not as bad a disaster as I feared, at 82.9 Kg.

I think the workouts are keeping me, if not trim, at least from ballooning out.

Must be MUST BE under 80 Kg for Christmas, otherwise more weight will creep up then and all is lost.

    The struggle goes on.

(((Hugs))) to all of you struggling with weight issues xx
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
  • Morning Folks,

1lb loss :j, the dance I’ve been doing with the ladder and the roller this week has paid off. Cant be sure that it will stay off even until tomorrow.

    Plan for today =
    B – Boiled egg, oatcake
    L – Soup & toast
D – Cocktails to start, Restaurant, Prosecco & Chocs…..nom, nom.

Poor you, my go to remedy is a couple of dry rich tea biscuits and warm sweetened water. Hope you are better soon.

Molly, sorry you're feeling so awful, hope it doesn't last too long.
Have I read somewhere that really flat and non-fizzy coke is good for bad stomachs?

Happy to report a 2 lb loss today...I stood on the scales 5 times just to make sure :)
I feel like I deserve it :rotfl: I've been very good this week (apart from the pizza incident!)...haven't been able to exercise so have kept the food under control.

Predictably, immediately after weigh in, I'm going to indulge...thinking something including roasts and puff pastry for tea :o Having some friends round this evening...there will be wine...and crisps...

  • Have to report yet another STS for me this week, Getting really fed up now.
After a bad weekend foodwise last weekend the week didn't get much better, was at a friends funeral yesterday. I suppose things can only get better. Good luck to everyone with the weigh in.
