  • Not sure the ornaments will get much eBay (or negligible amounts anyway) but too nice to give away. I could clear some books out and use the shelf space to display the ornaments....
The pictures I could car boot.

What about car boot for the ornaments as well? ;)

    Another question:
How do you use your bedside drawers?
They're next on the declutter list and at the moment they are full of rubbish!

I just have a small table with a shelf at the bottom. I'm looking out for drawers in a charity shop. I'd assumed they'd make it easier to keep my books etc tidy, but I can see how it would be easy to fill them with junk. OH has an identical table but also a big basket by his side of the bed for books, magazines, remotes etc.

OH and myself have a small three draw bedside cabinet each, and when I cleared out mine it was full of old birthday cards I had saved, books, old cardboard mobile phone boxes and all manor of other !!!!:rotfl:. Mine still contains most of above (minus phone boxes) and dread to think what is in OH's side, will let him clear it out at the weekend.

  • Been inspired a little bit more so just dug out a bundle of Slimming World magazines which I can give to a girl at work and 4 cook books I don't use which are going in the car boot box (when I do a car boot sale I don't come back with anything, what doesn't sell gets given to charity so I can safely count it). I might even do one at the weekend if it's nice.

    Ditch 100 in January

Arrghhh I'm so angry with myself, I was doing so well and seem to have really crashed the past few days!
Have gotten rid of 2 more parcels to eBay so counting them and the packaging.
    Old calander has been recycled
    Body lotion to mom
3 Books are in the new bag for life to go to the charity shop

    total up to 58/100
  • Well done with reaching 58 though Jess!
Goodness, looking at your tallies I can't believe how well we are all doing - even if it's just 1 or 2 things here and there, it's 1 or 2 things that would have been cluttering up.

I think there are some in the Argos sale, but perhaps you were looking for something a bit more solid.

    Mine houses my underwear.

Top drawer houses handcream, headphones and reading glasses

Next drawer down houses my pants

    Bottom drawer houses my bras

Hubby has underwear in his and car documents in the other two.

It's getting a bit difficult now. The number of boxes I have scattered around for eBay, Amazon, car boot, plus the box for the 'office', discovered craft stuff, books etc etc that need something doing with! There's barely any floor space upstairs again!:rotfl:
  • Right - that's it, the 2011 calendar is going too. I don't know why but this is one of those things I struggle to get rid of, I even have our 2010 one because that's the year DD was born - MADNESS!!!
