Thanks for your reply. No idea why this bit makes me chuckle, but it does!:rotfl:

Had to do an unexpected tidy up of wardrobe floor and carpet after a disintegrated plastic bag made a bid for freedom:mad:, so not much chucking for me today.

    6. Bag of rubbish from said bedroom.
    7. 3 boxes from wii controllers into recycling box.

Brings my total to 7/100, but disheartened to be honest. As have been on the go since 8 this morning, been to work at both my jobs, run around after the kids, gutted the bedroom floor and wardrobe and now have the most crippling back ache and have only flung 2 things don't know whether to:rotfl: or .

    :), Dinx, :)
That's a bag of rubbish and 3 boxes that would have stayed where they were if you'd not moved them. We're all going to peak and trough at different times with work and other responsibilities. It doesn't mean we've failed. Another time and you'll be swinging from the rooftops with glee over the things you've decluttered.
  • Last one for me tonight but just did a raid on the kitchen drawer - got a handful of stuff to bin and 2 items from the bathroom cupboard.

How do you use your bedside drawers?
They're next on the declutter list and at the moment they are full of rubbish![/QUOTE]
Mine is one drawer and then an empty space.
The drawer has make up remover, moisturiser, earplugs, some medicenes. My glasses go on the top, and in the space there was a big pile of books, but is now 2 books and a kindle.

Idea for old pairs of glasses, Sainsburys has a box which goes to a charity called Vision aid, they send the glasses to Africa for people to wear. I imagine most optititions would also collect them. I took 2 pairs to Sainsbury's today.

    Ditch 100 in January

Wish I'd seen this thread before I cleared out my bathroom - and before the month was half-gone! But it's only an average of 5-a-day.

May I join you amazing people? My tally today was:

1 Bathroom Scales (offered on Freegle)
2-6 5 bags of various Gardening magazines. I know - garden pron :o ; and could probably reach 100 in mags alone. (Offered on Freegle, but will recycle if not taken so out of the house either way)
7 One bag paper (tip to recycle)
8 One bag aluminium cans/tetrapaks (tip to recycle)
9 One bag bottle tops (girl at work collects for charity)

Not really that much, but got to start somewhere...
A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!

We dont have any!! There's a wardrobe on either side of our bed, so instead we have a shelf that goes across the top of the headboard.

There's a lamp in the middle, and then on my side theres
    - my glasses
    - alarm clock
    - bag of dog treats (I have an assistance dog so she gets a treat as reward for waking me up when the alarm goes off)
    - small teddy
    - 'mum' trophy
    - a hama bead horse
    - and a <cough> broken alarm clock!!

    On his there's
    - books
    - micky mouse
    - alarm clock
    - glasses
