    Ditch 100 in January

Today Ive been through an overflowing box file and have added to my summer fire-pit burn box about a ton of out of date paper work ready for getting our 'new' (ebay) filing cabinet ready to tackle the rest of the paper work which seems to be cropping up everywhere, on the kitchen side, under the bed, in the cupboards, I dread to think where else I'll find it!

Gosh everyone has been busy - apart from me nothing out today and some ins.

Went shopping to Leeds, specifically to visit Bravissimo & very impressively hardly bought anything else!

    So in:
    2 new bras
2 jumpers and jeans from M&S outlet - all on my 'clothes I need' list
2 reels of thread and a few bits of moddelling supplies from hobbycraft

We were really good, I resisted anything in C*th K*dston, OH managed to not to be tempted by a model train, tried on boots but none were quite right etc etc - was very impressed.

Oh did get 1 thing out - a £25 loch f*ne voucher left over from the ones we got given as a present a while back - lunch was £24.50 so that's used up and a nice lunch was free!

Full of cold which is meaning I'm struggling for energy but will try and get a few bits together for tomorrow to try and get rid of.

Havent heard anything about this. Tried to google it and only found information on a local Plymouth site. Is it a regional thing, or throughout the country?

The reason I ask, is that I was coming online to ask advice on what to do with my daughter's coat that she no longer wants - although she's hardly worn it! I dont want to ebay it as its quite heavy but not a brand name that people pay a lot for (papaya). Thought about taking it with some other clothes to the place that pays 30p a kilo, but the coat itself weighs that much and I'm thinking 30p/50p in my pocket, but it'd be worth so much more to the charity shop.

Have decluttered another tin of sweets today and a large tube of smarties. They are now in the recycling bin. DD's Brownies uniform is in the recycling too as I took off her special badge that I'd had to sew onto her top.
I have some things to ebay tomorrow so will start photographing first thing. I will just keep listing until I have run out of time but might just carry on listing tomorrow evening on delayed start time auctions that I can then set to go live as soon as there is another free listing day.
I was very happy as I managed to raise about £130 last year which paid for us to redecorate our dining room. Any money raised this time round will be used to spend on holiday (although some of it may be used on plasterboard for our hall/stairs/landing ceiling. BiL is really keen to help DH to replace the ceiling and has talked through how they are going to do it. I have told DH that I don't care about getting it replastered if we can get away with not doing that. I'm happy to just have paper put up and we already have the paper for it from when we decorated the hall in the first few days of December.
I've got an exceptionally large tub of white paint in the hall way and am going to crack it open and just paint the bathroom out white so I can do some filling in there. I can then repaint it with some left over paint which we put up into the loft last week.
I am really, really keen to get my hallway finished. At this rate, we'll have the mortgage paid off before we have finished the house. I know it'll be gone before we finish the outside and the garden but that's because we need some costly bits doing outside.
I also need to get the loft boarded out and sorted so that I can get the storage sorted nicely. That too will be expensive though. Perhaps I'll just buy one pack of boards and 1 lot of insulation and then one shelving unit at each time. Get them done and sorted and then when I have the money, do the next bit. Then at each stage of the boarding and whatnot, I will be clearing enough space to put the next lot of stuff down.
We also have an exceptionally large copper tank in our loft which I want gone to the scrap metal dealer. It must be worth a fair bit due to it's weight but it's going to be a pig to get down!

Be careful and check first that its okay to do this. I know ebay were tightening rules up, so that sellers couldnt prepare listings in advance and still get free listing.

Items listed using professional tools, such as (but not limited to), Turbo Lister and Sales Manager Pro, are excluded. Items will only be eligible for this promotion if they are listed with the Quick Sell or Advanced Sell (Sell Your Item) forms or the eBay iPhone, eBay iPad or eBay Android applications..

Incidentally, if you're short of time - just list the more expensive stuff during free listing weekends - auctions starting at 99p are always free to list :)

I had cleared out my wardrobe! With the help of my sister, I removed ever single item of clothing I had and tried each one on. Made a pile for charity shop / donated some to sis / Ebay pile / fabric recycling. I have cleared out well over 100 items just from that. Now seems bare but in reality all the things I like to wear and wera everyday are in there. I have kept some items I couldn;t quite part with but I will go back through in 3 months and remove them if I haven't worn them.

I have 8 of 34 items currently selling on ebay - several that haven;t sold previously oddly enough. I have an enormous amount to ebay so am going to crack on with that today. House also needs a quick tidy and I'll be trying to declutter the remainder of the ironing pile (which is now a bit smaller as I've decluttered some of these straight to the ebay pile!).
