:T silent sister:T well done you!

Have bought six new storage containers for the kitchen, when they come, I am blitzing the kitchen  everything out of the cupboards, cupboards cleaned and ONLY WHAT I REALLY NEED being put back.

New storage containers should enable space to be freed up so condensing what I already have.

Also want to get a proper store cupboard going and also want to get my home cooking back on track, always used to have home made cakes and stuff but have become tres lazy and that has to change.

I am seeing that decluttering isn't just about getting stuff out of the house; it's also utilising the available space toots best and prioritising your needs....I think:rotfl:

I haven't posted on here for ages but I read all your posts. Well done to you all for the decluttering you are doing.

I am not getting much done at the moment so am determined to write down what I get done so that I feel that I am doing something.

Today I have sorted out the content in my handbag and got all my washing done. I am going on holiday on Monday with my OH for 10 days and since part of the holiday is to catch up with friends and family we are taking their Christmas presents with us together with their Christmas cards. Tomorrow we are going to wrap the presents. Taking it with us will save a small fortune in postage. In the last few weeks I have sold 3 items on staffnet and have made £50. Last weekend I did an inventory list of what we had in our freezer this will help us to meal plan.

Good luck to you all with your decluttering.

    Good morning all xx

I'm afraid I haven't been doing too well. I cleared a pile of gibble from the kitchen and coffe table and got rid of a carrier bag of stuff. DD was here with her friend yesterday making chocolates, so spent the afternoon supervising them. DD slept at her friends and I had a phonecall at 7:30 from her friends mum saying DD had been sick a few times in the night. Picked her up and she has been sick twice since coming home :-( . Hopefully will get some more done today (apart from decluttering dirty tissues and yukky towels!!!!)
  • I'm back from holiday and raring to go,especially after being at my sister's for a few days. Her house is so uncluttered...I've set my target for 100 this month, but hope to beat it.

1 one sink stopper to Mum
    2 six cards used up
    3 one candlestick to cs

Another batch of paper to recycling and a bag of shredding out followed by a swift dyson of 4 rooms. And laundry is on.
2/3 of the stuff for the tax return is to hand (yay!) and some stuff for another financial thing is shaping up nicely.:D

Better health to all that need it and better aim for those with the hurling bug.

I see a cup of :coffee: in my future.

I know what you mean marmite, I see other peoples homes and cannot believe they have any possessions at all, they always look so clear and tidy, makes you wonder if anyone actually lives there!

Am also setting my target at 100 again this month, need to get my act together as well....less chat more action from me I think.

Have a good Sunday all :)

I had a good declutter earlier, added two binbags to the pile for the tip. Am determined to give this house a huge makeover while they are on holiday for 2 weeks. Is much easier as I can throw stuff away without resistance :D

Also put loads of stuff on Freecycle as am bored of trying to sell it! If it still doesn't go it's going to the charity shop or tip.

Update - I have someone coming to pick up a big box of household stuff tomorrow :D
