Have a few things I want to move, but can do nothing at the moment as both of us have stinking colds
So, am snuffling, listening to a story CD and feeling sorry for myself. If you want to bring chocolate, you can visit :rotfl:
Have a great day all. Sniff sniff
You have my sympathy as I also have a cold at the moment and no energy.
I was going to do so much when I got home from work today, but ended up going for a nap as I was so exhausted, then the phone rang and woke me up causing confusion about where I was, and when I looked at the clock I thought I'd overslept and should have been at work! When my brain finally woke up, I realized that I'd only been asleep for about 45 minutes, but I felt a bit better than I did when I got into bed.
Didn't get much done over the weekend in the end, but I did shred a pile of paperwork that had been on top of the shredder for a few days, and OH finally got the new bolt fitted on the garden gate which had been in the shed for a couple of weeks. He had to use some of his own screws, so that's 8 of them used out of the millions he has in the shed!

Seems we are all a bit less than 100% at the moment. My gorgeous girl kitty doesn't mind, she gets to snuggle up with mummy (oh my heart melts!!) and purrs so loudly, oh it's wonderful, worth being ill for

Morning everyone
Haven't been online since Friday so just been catching up on everyone's activities. October seems to have gotten off to a flying start for most of us.
Not much done over the weekend as went to Great Yarmouth but managed to do some flinging/ sorting while off and at home on Monday and Tuesday. So here goes:
2 exercise tops sold for a measly £2.99 on ebay and posted
5 books listed on Amazon trade in for £31 (technically not out yet but will be posted later this week)
Baking stuff - out of date bags of flour, choc chips etc binned. It killed me to do that but it made me realise I should not buy stuff to put down and should just buy ingredients as and when I am going to make something
Freecycled - 6 crystal cut glass tumblers, Epson printer, hand luggage/ cabin bag, 2 packs of Lakeland loaf and cake tin liners. Hopefully being collected on Saturday - collection of 20 odd rubber ducks!
Bedroom door - last coat painted yesterday
Am feeling quite pleased with myself :j0 -
evening all.
Well the youngest's dummies will be going in the bin tonight (4 i think!)
Not done that much today but posted 4 items out (ebay) and took a bin bag, 4 carrier bags and a broken small coffee table to the tip that i have been collecting all week, oh and an old rugHallway looks better for that space cleared.
Need to tidy up the space in the cupboard left by the tiles and put the hoover in its place so thats out of the way. Going to go through the kids bits later i think whilst they play/wind down for bed.
Had a productive morning sorting finanaces out. Been updating some companies details who still had my maiden name down (nearly 11 months after the wedding) including the mortgage companyand changed a DD over to my new bank that for some reason hadnt moved with the rest. Sorted a bit of desk clutter (paperwork) this morning too. Not much and my house is still very much a tip but surely the things i am doing are helping?!

Hi everyone, not a lot to report here: I've had far more 'ins' than 'outs' these past few days, but they all have specific homes to go to and some bits are for Christmas presents. So hopefully when they're all put away they won't cause any clutter.
Did manage to out:
1. Double duvet with rip in it - friend, whose mum will use it for stuffing
2. DAB radio - broken, hubby has tried to mend it but it's past it - will go to electrical recycling at tip
3. Pair of trousers that I won't fit into unless I lose 3 stone! - charity shop
4. Craft template - going in craft tombola in November
5. Another mouse, this time caught in the garage
Probably won't get much done tomorrow either as it's my birthday and I intend to have a 'duvet day', stay in bed and read my library book "The Woman who went to bed for a year", and just generally relax and chill till hubby comes home with an Indian (takeaway not person!).:D
Have fun decluttering everyone...Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing
